We were a party of 6 people for dinner. Four out of 6 of our dinner orders were incorrect. Six out of six of our drink orders also were incorrect. It's as if the server just brought us whatever was available. Absolutely no attention paid to service or our orders. Everything was served wrong. Even the restroom had no toilet paper, seat covers, soap or paper towels! I know it was a busy weekend but there should have been someone in management paying attention to detail. We won't eat there again.

My husband and I love our Claremont location so much when we saw this spot while vacationing in town we had to stop in! We happened to come in close to closing but with no hesitation they took us in and gave us great service. The bartender there was amazing so friendly and personable really great guy. Food was great as usual. No complaints will be back here next time I'm in town.

Sweet Cheese and Rice! (I won't use the lords name in vain.) so My wife and I are Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we are staying out in the Palm Dessert area- we found this place. We walked in to the restaurant a little early, 5:30pm, missing the happy hour- 2-5pm. We had our choice of seating and we promptly greeted by our waiter, Brandon. He was efficient to say the least and knew how to recommend beverages to compliment our meals. We decided to go with hamburgers- wow! Excellent beef and fixed. I had the one featuring blue cheese and mushrooms, my wife 'The Cowboy." They serve a descent amount of fries with each order. So Brandon started me off with a locally brewed CVB Wind Farm Saison (6.5%) which was delicious- light and refreshing yet full bodied with a good hint of hoops- just not too strong to over power the flavor of the grass fed beef. So I finished the first draw and needed another, I asked Brandon to surprise me and he delivered a Alesmith Yuletide Summer DIPA (8.5), an amazing compliment to my blue cheese burger. The pairing, if you will, was second to none. The robust flavor took on a personality of its own, much like Kramer from Sienfield entering the room, not quite stealing the show but adding another layer of entertainment for all to enjoy. Great food accentuated by great service- thanks!

Nice family/date night friendly spot to grab a casual meal. I really enjoyed the fig burger and the fries. The corn dog pops are a fun item to share (free appetizer with yelp check-in -- hint hint)! Burgers are cooked to your specifications - and they are just the right size. My group of 4 certainly enjoyed our Eureka! experience and the food!

Nice new addition to the Indian Wells restaurant collection. Took my wife and two children for lunch and managed to get out for under $50 including tip. Burgers are cooked to order and come out juicy regardless of the temperature. I like mine medium (perfect), my wife likes well-done (ruined) but they both were juicy and very tasty. Plenty for the kids to enjoy with a complimentary kids appetizer of watermelon & avocado that was out right away. Good service and nice atmosphere complement the great food. I can't wait to come back without the kids and have a cocktail or a craft beer!

Awesome staff, great food and great beer selection and if you like whiskey - this place is for you! Tons of whiskey selections behind the bar :) Someone suggested this place to us and I am sure glad they did! We had the Bruschetta as an app and it was super yummy! It had goat cheese on it, which was a nice surprise and made it different. I loved it! Next I ordered the Fresno Fig Burger which was also very yummy with goat cheese! I loved the flavors. My friend was told to stay away from the nachos, and she should have. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either. But this place is fine dinning, save your nacho orders for a Mexican restaurant:) Unfortunately they had given my order to my neighbor at the bar and hers to me. She ordered a different side and her Fig burger well done. I had ordered medium. They promptly replaced my burger with my correct order and side. My neighbor was happy with the medium burger so they just brought her an additional side of what she had originally ordered. They ended up comping my entire burger & side! They also brought out a Goldengate Butterscotch Rum Pudding to help make up for my wrong order - and that was delicious! I don't like and never order dessert, but I ate that! All the staff that we interacted with was really great! Brothers Kyle and Kevin behind the bar were very friendly as well as Nager, who I believe was a manager. There was other staff that just stopped by to see how everything was going. It was a great dinner and a fun experience and I would gladly go to Eureka again!!

I had dinner for the first time for my birthday on 8/28/14. It was such an awesome dining experience! The waitress, her name is Boo, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! The Managers Paul and Gina came out and checked in on us. I couldn't ask for more and I haven't made mention of the food. I had the wings as an appetizer and they were so flavorful and delicious! For dinner I had the Cowboy burger and I have to say it was as big as it showed in the picture. It was such a great tasting burger that even the buns they used was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice dining experience at a reasonable price with friendly service.

This place never seems to disappoint me! Definitely the best place in the desert for a real gourmet burger this is my 3rd time being here & certainly not my last time, the quality & freshness of the food is impeccable! I always try a different burger when I come & love them all! Their Panko crusted onion rings & shishito peppers are excellent! & Bloody Mary's the best I've ever had! Bou the manager & our waiter are very attentive great customer service eureka keep it up!!!!

Great food. Great service. But for a decent restaurant they really should filter their drinking water. If you just want a glass of water you are served nasty tasting tap water. When I asked my waitress...about the water before I even finished she said, "Yeah our water isn't very good, it's not filtered." Come on Eureka. ..spring for a filter and serve some decent tasting water. EDIT: As always...stand up folks here. I just got a note (next morning after I posted) from Eureka thanking me for my review and saying they'll look into their water right away. Go visit these guys!

My fiancé and I had dinner here on Friday, March 28. We heard it was the new, best burger place in the valley so we had to try it out. We arrived at 6:20 and they texted us about 20 minutes later when our table was ready. It was incredibly loud. So loud, we had to sit side by side (although we prefer to sit facing each other) so we could yell into each other's ear to be heard. The food itself was ok. Nothing stood out. The burgers were small for the price. I had the Fresno Fig Burger and he had the Cowboy Burger. Unfortunately, my fiancé got food poisoning from his meal and was up all night in pain and having to run to the restroom. The service was also lacking. The waitress came by within 30 seconds of our plates arriving, to see if everything was ok. Then we never saw her again until she came to clear the table (my fiancé was needing a refill on his drink long before this.) Our experience at Eureka! was not a good one and I will let our friends know to go elsewhere.

My husband and I had dinner there last night. Service was excellent! Food was awesome. Hubby had a burger with sweet potato fries. I had turkey burger with goat cheese, mushrooms and onions. Added avocado aioli and it was the best burger ever! Love this place!

Great burger selection, good food, friendly staff, good beer selection. My wife and I liked this place. Best Gastro Pub in the area. We'll be coming back.

What draws me in 1-2 times a week is the beer selection on tap. One of the best places to go in the desert for a craft brew. I'm glad I gave this place a 2nd chance in regards to dining here, because it has become one of my favorite spots. The food has improved greatly since it's opening, but the kitchen still seems pretty slow. Sometimes we'll be almost done with our 2nd beer by the time we're served our meal, but It's worth the wait as long as you're not staaarving! My picks on the food menu: The Catalina Bison Burger "naked" (bunless on a bed of mixed green lettuce". It comes with a delicious bacon-infused jalapeno jam, charbroiled tri-color peppers, red onion, and smoked mozzarella. It's the most expensive burger on the menu and worth every penny. Depending on my mood I'll either have a side salad with strawberry vinaigrette or sweet potato fries. Regular fries are good too, with the zesty ranch. For appetizers, get the Osso Buco Riblets tossed in firecracker aoili! And desert, the Chocolate Espresso Soufflé Coffee Cup Cake is divine.

The reason I am taking a star off is because my jalapeño egg burger came with Jar jalapeños. The server brought us freshly grilled jalapeños that made a world of difference. Throw the jar away!!! Just make them with fresh ingredients. Besides that the truffle fries good. Must like truffle oil. The Catalina bison burger was also a 4 out of 5, need to be lighter on the mozzarella cheese.

Spent an extended weekend down in palm desert for a conference and came to this restaurant twice. First night was with the family. Our waitress gave some good recommendations on the whiskey samplers. She definitely knew her spirits. We ordered the watermelon salad which came out promptly. Fed most of the quinoa to the baby and he enjoyed it. It's also been a long time since we had watermelon and it was sweet! Then came the waiting game. We waited almost an hour before our salmon entree and pulled pork sandwich came out. Baby ate most of the salmon and he did not complain. The waitress was very apologetic about the wait as was the manager, Paul. He even comped us the whiskey sampler which was really appreciated. Made us feel better about the wait. Overall the food was good and although we wanted everything without salt added, our waitress came and told us that the veggies on the salmon dish were already lightly salted. It was not too bad. After recommending the whiskey sampler to a friend, ended up coming back the next evening for reverse "hoppy" hour with him. This time I went with the ballast point fugu vodka. I normally don't sip vodka but this was definitely smooth and palatable. Overall a nice return and service was on par with the previous night. Will definitely visit eureka again when back in the area or wherever there is one of their franchises.

Had dinner this evening with a couple of great gals at "Eureka" in Indian Wells. Arrived at 5pm and waited only a few minutes for a requested booth. Service was very friendly and the food was good. The atmosphere was casual dinning with a nice crowd for a Wednesday night. They also have seating available at the bar and on the patio outside. Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

After hearing about this place for a while now we finally decided to venture out. We have now been back to Eureka burger twice in the last two weeks! The food is simply amazing the presentation of the food is even better and the service is above any place out here. The staff members are so knowledgeable about the food & spirits. After listening to the bartender explain to a couple next to us about the whiskey sampler we were so intrigued so we ordered it as well. He knew every detail about each whiskey. Even the history of the town that it's created in. We were so impressed!! Even the Decour of the place is very unique and inviting. It has a rustic feel but also you feel fine going in a T-shirt and jeans or draw us all the way up. Genevive was one of our servers and she really went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our food and also attending to everybody around us. We were even asked by two of the managers (Nazim)about our experience and they just took time out to make sure that we felt special. We went for our anniversary on Saturday and I can't wait to go back again! Great food, impeccable staff & amazing atmosphere.

Let me start by saying I was very exited about finally visiting eureka! Per articles I had read. Now that's iv been there, I don't know what all the hype was about. They have a fabulous craft beer and whiskey selection and an awesome patio venue. My problem was the service. We waited for our drink order to be taken. Waited for our drinks. Then waited. Waited and waited. 40 minutes later (maybe 10 tables seated and several people working) she took our order. (Our drinks had been empty for quite some time) we asked for refills and waited. Out food came eventually it was good but mediocre. Cowboy burger and Fresno fig were both good but a let down after the wait. Waited for the check. Waited or refills. Never got the refills. I swear I want to like this place I really do! The service just need ALOT of help.

Wonderful service, great beer selection and delicious food. What else is there? We had the clam appetizer that far exceeded our expectations for seafood in the desert. Will definitely return, with friends in tow.

Great beers and burgers! Awesome selection of craft beers and burgers. my friends dad Jerry says the tables are big and you can get 4 big ass people in the booths! Old man Jerry also says thumbs up on the food! Great place!

This was our first visit to Eureka! Great impression but we were confused about who our server was...it seems they must have different people who greet the table & get the drink orders, take the appetizer order, refill drinks, food delivery, take the actual meal order, & followup... I'm not saying that it was a horrible experience or anything...just different not being able to decipher who was our "real" server...haha. It was almost like a Mystery Dinner... Haha not really but I'll live in my bubble & think of it that way... :-) The food was really yummy! I got the Salmon & Veggies...Yum... Hubby got the Steak Salad...got it Medium Rare...I had a bite or two, it was good... Tried the Lollipop Corndogs...meh! Hubby said he liked the hotdog place at the mall for this type of thing. He prefers the texture of dough & that it stays on the dog better than at Eureka...I agree! I thought the dough was too airy & easily fell off the dog making these kinda messy to eat, but it was nice to mix the 3 different sauces for a different flavor or to try each one separately... I think the point of a corndog is that it's easy to eat...No moving parts...Hmm, along with the dough, maybe this is another area that Eureka should look into if trying to achieve perfection for this appetizer...**Eureka, please consider putting a flat stick in the dogs so that they don't swirl around the thin round long toothpicks you have them on...Maybe they'd stay together if they weren't moving around so much. The Cosmo was perfect! Perfection! Wow! Overall, great experience! We sat on the patio & there was no covering above us...just the cute lights & the beautiful stars! We will be back! Want to try the burgers & other apps... Check out their "Hoppy" Hour Specials....see my photos for the deals.

Very good food a bit too yuppy in the decor. Just my opinion. The truffle fries are awesome. A bit pricey for a hamburger but the quality warrants the $$

Enjoyed most of their salads, most recently the Beet salad, naked chicken Italian style and you can substitute a side salad for the regular fries or sweet potatoe fries or coleslaw. The Jalapeno egg burger is interesting. Try a flight and their appetizers. Nice mixed crowd of young and old. We've been here 3 times and haven't been wowed but weren't really disappointed either. It's good food and the service is good too.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! I had the slow roasted beet salad with watermelon pop rocks, which made the texture interesting. It was the perfect setting so I could catchup with a friend. I will definitely be back!

I have been to other Eureka! burger locations with mixed results. This past weekend, I visited the Palm Desert location for the first time. The service and food were both excellent, surpassing my expectations. The only thing I would change is their inclusion of onions on everything (it's even pre-included in many of the toppings like the sautéed mushrooms) and they won't specially prepare the toppings without. Not everyone likes or can eat onions and their inclusion to that level doesn't feel very customer-friendly.

Wide selection of craft beers and bourbons. The chicken sandwich was moist and well seasoned. The fries were soggy if not mediocre. The original eureka burger came out kind of cold but okay overall. The blue cheese burger was cooked well, great taste/very juicy but also kind of soggy. The table had mixed reviews about the blue cheese - not for me personally. The tortilla burger on a bun and not a tortilla was good - I loved the kick of jalapeños and onions. The table agreed that the top bun on all the burgers was much too thick. Kind of ridiculous they charge $1.50 extra for onion rings instead of fries when you get just 3 large rings but overall a good experience if you're traveling through the area.

This place was awesome! We went during their Hoppy Hour (Happy Hour). We had several items off the happy hour menu: truffle fries $5, riblets $5, fish tacos $6 and side salads $3! Everything was really good, but the standout was the salad with a parsley vinaigrette dressing! Kids meals are $6 and my kids loved their meals, hamburger and Mac n cheese with sides and a drink! Beer selection was amazing, the IPA's and wine we ordered were great! Hoppy hour is from 2-5 and 9-midnight. Hoppy hour offers $2 off all beer selections. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place!

First time here, it's been raved about from friends and family. Best burger I've had in so long. Fries are to die for. Not many Gluten Free options. My son who has to eat GF had a burger sans bun and water melon. Fries are not GF. Fun tasty cocktails and specialty brews with a nice wine selection too. Not just burgers here, the have tacos, salads, chicken dishes, steak, soup, great onion rings too! We could not be any happier with our experience. Try the bone marrow burger, best burger I have ever had. Service was fantastic even though they were packed. Casual dress and good for kids too. Nice children's menu.

Eureka!!! Found another Eureka Burger! During my trip to Palm Springs, I Yelped some places to eat and Eureka Burger came up. Went to the one in Claremont so I was super excited to be close to another one. Located in a shopping center with a Ralphs, the place is designed similar to the other Eureka Burger in Claremont. We came around 2 and the hostess seated us immediately. She was friendly and asked us if we wanted a seat inside, outside, or at the bar. After getting seated, the server quickly came by for our drink order and told us that "Hoppy" Hour (clever....) was about to start. Ended up ordering the Fresno Fig Burger and my group shared the Truffle Cheese Fries and the Nacho Average Nachos from the happy hour menu. The appetizers came our really quick. The fries was pretty good. You could taste the truffle and the melted cheese wasn't overwhelming. We pretty much finished the entire dish. Most likely because we enjoyed the taste but also because we didn't really enjoy the Nachos. With a name like Nacho Average Nachos, we expected some pretty top notch, unique nachos but what we got were some hard tortilla chips in some average nacho condiments (cheese, salsa, jalapeno peppers, guac, shredded chicken). What was so above average about it? We didn't find it particularly satisfying... Maybe the play and words in the name was just deceiving... As for my burger, I had ordered it the last time I went to Eureka Burger and I knew I had to have it again. Sweet from the fig jam, and savory from the goat cheese and bacon. It was a combination to die for (or die from). Either way, the burger was cooked perfectly. The fig jam counteracted all the savory aspects and the side of french fries were perfectly fried. I have to admit that it wasn't as good as the first time I tried the burger but it was still a bomb burger. There was few problems with my friends food though. His rare burger came out around medium and his onion rings were so drenched in batter that the cook didn't fry it enough that some of the batter wasn't fully cooked. We told the server of our issues and she was really accommodating and removed the add-on price for the onion rings. Due to the issues, the server also gave us complementary desserts (A chocolate souffle a la mode and a apple crumble a la mode). She didn't have to do that and it was really sweet to taken the extra step to do this for us even though the cooking of the food wasn't her fault. The desserts were good as well but we were all so full from the appetizers and burgers that we couldn't finish them. I would definitely come back again. The food is good. I want to try to Napa Burger. The service is great. Servers were always coming back to refill our drinks. Our particular server went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience and I definitely appreciate that. A must try in my book.

Have been noticing Eureka all around southern CA lately. We were looking for a new burger place to try in desert area and settled on Eureka. The service could be better, bartender seems a bit pretentious and took too long for everything, from ordering, bussing, drinks and getting check at the end. Luckily we weren't in a rush so it didn't matter but could be annoying. The 2 burgers we got were Fresno Fig and Pearl Street Blues and requested medium for both. One came out a bit more done than the other but it wasn't cooked to bone dry so we didn't mind too much. We would come back because the burgers were good (though not the best) and they had a decent beer selection.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Went here for our friends anniversary dinner. Celebrating almost 50 years. I only ordered dessert because I wasn't very hungry. The chocolate espresso soufflé was divine! Very rich flavor. Every plate offered something unique. My brother ordered the fig burger and really enjoyed it. Hubby ordered the cowboy burger and a potato soup which he absolutely loved because of the big chunks of potatoes. Everyone's plate looked awesome. Great presentation. The only reason for four stars is our waitress must have been in a bad mood. A somewhat young , Caucasian tall thin girl with her hair tied back. Very Very rude and short with us about anything we asked her. It was hard to even get her attention. If we had a better waitress it would've been perfect.

Great food, great atmosphere. The sausage corn dogs for appetizer is extremely good. What a great idea! Had the cowboy burger. Wasn't the best burger I've ever had, but it was very good. Wife had the fish tacos and the flavor was perfect. If you order the sweet potato fries make sure you understand that they are sweet. Much more of a desert than a side dish for a meal. Fish was a little dry but the avocado aioli made up for it. Great place to visit!

We have been back many times, but tonight rates another review. We went here for dinner at 9:15pm, after an event at the our Association. Their late HH lasts from 9pm till closing. When we got there, the party was just beginning. It was a balmy March evening, so we went to the patio, being locals. There was a cute acoustic guitarist for the first half, and a woman blues singer for the latter. All easily enjoyed from the patio. What an ambience. At HH, you get $1-2 off the beers and the Fugu Vodka, so we got an Anchor Steam beer and a vodka martini (my way is up, with 3 olives on the side, veggie style). They do have authentic Sazeracs for you sippin' drink purists, and Zombie Cherry for those who want to overspend. Bill had the Cobb salad, which is very good. but what I had was absolutely wonderful. From the HH menu, I had the side salad ($3), the Pacific Fish Tacos ($5) and the Osso Buco Riblets ($5). Bazonga! This was the best meal in a(n) HH ever. The fish tacos were blackened white fish, and all the rest, including a salsa that was sweet. Very good. Two tacos for the appetizer, and a six taco size for dinner. Both were enough for take home. The Osso Buso Riblets were the best entree I have had in a long time. They were excellent. They were (Don't-Ask-Don't-Tell) puerco ribs, cooked to perfection, dropping of the bone, and seriously savory. The serving was large enough for take-home for lunch the next day. This is a serious winner, for HH or for dinner. The side salad was perfect, and enough for a full salad. The HH prices are for the full-sized appetizers, so this is a wonderful late night place for dinner. I think you will love this place for late-night eating. I know we will be back. It's on my list.

I have become a regular at Eureka. The food is prepared with natural ingredients or can be modified to my liking. I have had great service and great food every time I have been there. I love the Kale salad. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Happy Hour Bloody Marys...Check. Good Craft Beers on Tap...Check. Polish Corn Dogs...Check, and a MUST! Watermelon Salad...Meh. It might've been better had it not been smothered in quinoa and warm. (That should be a crisp, refershing dish, so I had to dock for that.) Will I be back for more...CHECK!

WHERE ARE MY PECANS? :( I ordered the summer salad to go, got home and there were no pecans :( I was so disappointed because that's why I had ordered that particular salad, I enjoy the walnuts. All in all, the salad was great, the chicken was moist and dressing was light, but I would have given 5 stars if there'd been pecans in my salad.

  • G N.

Food was great ! I had the Osso Bucco Riblets were outstanding ! Salads were ok, however they came on a plate that was too small so the lettuce spilled all over the table. The burger was great as well and my friend was a Chef in Beverly Hills so I trust his assessment. The opportunities lay with the service for sure. The staff is very casual and the place lacks personality in that you really have to prompt interaction with staff of any kinds much less a conversation relating to the place or menu. The décor is reclaimed wood and basic furnishings that are the trend these days similar to what you would find in a thousand other newer concepts. They seem to be courting a young hipster crowd with their involvement in the Music Festivals and their facebook campaigns unfortunately they sit in Indian Well with the richest per capita residents in the US and for them great service is King. On the three times I was there greeting at the table was slow not just for me but the only other two tables in the place. Table maintenance was virtually not existent. I did not see a single " Table Touch " by a manager and the place was slow until happy hour when the bar did fill up. Hostess had no smile and did not say goodbye or thanks for coming. The place is content to be a baby Yard House which is fine, yet interacting with people online versus in person no matter how cool or hip they are trying to be will just not work in the long run. I prefer the original in Redlands. All these things are easily fixed with strong leadership and the right attention in these areas. Managers on laptops during business hours while guests are in view just does not seem like good practice even in the world of facebook direct marketing. I will reassess in a month or so as they are one of just two casual eating and drinking places in that little section of town and I would like to see them do well.

Very kid friendly! Great restaurant! The staff is wonderful as well as the food. I just finished the best salmon dish I've ever had. The truffle fries are good. All the burgers are a good choice too. Smartest restaurant for kids. They bring milk in a kids cup right away and then without us even having to ask brought a smart healthy app of watermelon and avocado for the babies. Finally a restaurant that knows how to keep kids quiet at the table, with food! Even the bread at outback took longer last time we were there and we had to ask while the boys cried. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the management for thinking of our little ones and making great food with great service :)

I am updating my review on this place. It has unfortunately gone downhill upon its opening, and I'd say 98% of that is due to their staff. I do not go here anymore because of how poor their staff is. I have too many examples to even type out. But if you like beer, don't bother ordering one here because apparently they're waiting for the hops to grow - no joke, every time it takes them 15 min + to get a damn draft beer. That's when the place is empty and the bartender is standing around picking their nose. They need to get their act together or they won't last much longer.

It was my first time at Eureka yesterday and I sat at the bar. My friend that I was with had been there several times before telling me she only comes here to get the fig burger, and that the service was so so. That was NOT the case this time. Service was remarkable! First, we both ordered the Moscow Mule suggested by the bartenders (Kelsi and Alex). They use fresh squeezed juices and make their own ginger beer, and serve in a copper cup-perfection! A must try. We got our burgers to go and they were very tasting a juicy, but not soggy, which is a plus, specially for to go food! I was thoroughly impressed and we just can't wait to come back and have another drink and try the other burgers like the jalapeño egg burger and sweet potato fries(which were recommended from the bar tenders).

Continuously disappointed with this place...I really, really, want to like Eureka. It's local, the staff is friendly and it has a good selection of beers and great food. But I have to say, after the 3rd visit, it's still the same things that bring this place down. 1. Getting food out at lunch should never take this long! We waited 45 min. at lunchtime for tacos and a burger! How do you fit that into an hour lunch? 2. They are always out of something! This time it was the onion rings. Really? At lunch you're out of onion rings? What happens for the dinner rush? Last visit it was lollipop corn dogs...I mean, c'mon, you're corporate, who does your ordering? 3. Servers disappear until you need the check. Once the food was out, I saw my server once to refill a drink. When I ran out of ketchup, that was it... I can pay $12 for a burger anywhere and get it within 10 min. why would I go here and waste my lunch hour waiting for something, assuming they have it in stock that day...so disappointing.

My husband & I had some delicious burgers here. I had the Napa burger with roasted tomato and cheese. I also had the sweet potato fries-drizzled with honey. My husband had the pearl burger with blue cheese. All our food was wonderful and the service was spot on. Good margaritas, too!

Great service and menu profile. I had the chicken sandwich which was very good along with the sweet potato fries. Wasn't aware they had a great drink menu, serving up "Speakeasy" cocktails. Looking forward in trying their Bison burger next time.

Is there a option for no stars? Sadly the horrible customer service started when we walked in the door. No welcome nothing how many, ok one min. We waited 20 mins watching everyone else got seated, yes even people that showed up 20 mins behind us. What is going on?? Finally we get seated. A couple behind us gets seated a few mins after us. We get ignored for 15mins while the couple that got seated after us got drink orders. The manager or lady that took their orders just walked right passed us, not even a drink order or a hello or anything. It's like we were invisible ghost willing to pay a buck for a burger. We had to walk out. I will sadly not be trying this! I can't stand horrible customer service.

Best food in Indian Wells. Great selection of beers and delicious burgers. And foot for the dieter as well!

Had a wonderful experience there tonight! The food, beer and wine selection was never the issue and our server, food runner, bartender and even the manager were very attentive and helpful tonight. We will definitely be coming back! Glad you guys worked out the kinks and we are happy to have you in the desert!

Best burger spot in the desert by far!!!! Love the great happy hour menu and draft beer selection! My favorite item has to be the fig marmalade burger! The service is always on point and they are very knowledgeable on all the craft beer and whiskey!!!

First issue was that we were seated at tables that had about 1 in a half to 2 feet between us and the table next to us. It was not a place to sit and enjoy company or conversation, more eat and go. I ordered a well done hamburger, with no sauce. Burger came out medium rare, asked another waiter to get our waitress, which took too long, she took the burger back to kitchen, only to come back with the same burger recooked, this time medium, still pink. I decided to take a bite and it wasn't tasty at all. I don't like sweet pickles, which were on the hamburger. The meat itself was not tasty, bland. No flavor, maybe it's all about the sauce and not the meat. The fries were ok. It's just not good enough food to want to sit uncomfortably to eat and go. Too bad.... They took my dinner off the bill, but I'd rather have had a good burger then a free bad one!

Pretty dang good! I was recommended to come here and stopped in just before Christmas the other night, great food, great drinks and great service. We sat at the bar, I believe our tender's name was Kenneth. Very cool guy, on top of his game for us. We left happy, pleased, full and will definitely return in the new year to come! Thanks Eureka!

Went in for lunch today. Restaurant has been open for about 3 weeks now. They still have a lot of room for improvement. Service was very average. I had to ask for ice tea refill 4 times. Our server was completely oblivious. Never asked us once if our food was ok once it came out. She lacked focus. Was not very pleasant. The ice tea was watered down. The fries were cold and soggy. Manager passed by our table. Saw empty ice tea and Dirty plates that needed to be cleared. Kept on walking. Fail!! Hopefully it's just growing pains. Get your self together people.

Tried this place with a bunch of friends. Seemed to be a nice atmosphere and the patio is great. BUT, the service and food was far from acceptable. Bruschetta appetizer was mediocre at best. I'm Italian through and through, so I am aware of how this dish is supposed to taste--didn't even come close. Try getting rid of the goat cheese spread for a start. Our waitress was friendly and attempted to be accommodating, but waiting nearly 30 minutes for semi-decent food is not okay in my book. The burgers, entrees and salads are okay, but certainly nothing to write home about. My partner ordered the steak wrap; we assumed that it came with fries or onion rings, being that the other sandwiches and burgers did. When we asked the server, she indicated that the steak wrap doesn't come with anything because it is really a salad "just wrapped up". Um, call me crazy, but doesn't that make it a sandwich?? Nice logic, management. We decided to order fries on the side--they were cold and didn't have much flavor. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Beautiful when you walk in..menu nice...service..I think they are trying but need a strong leader. waited forever for just water..wine was barely cool..so slow to get anything we asked for..not impressed with much. Cole slaw with peanuts...no flavor..please add the peanuts before serving..damp, wet soggy peanuts are not a good addition to the salad. May try again in 6 months when they get it together better.

I had heard great things about Eureka's burger so I decided to check it out with a buddy. When I first go to a new burger joint I Like to order my usual at other restaurants so I can truly quantify their quality. So I started with a hefeweizen beer and their famous truffle fries. The hefeweizen was crafted by a local state brewery and was surprising good (I lived in Germany so I tend to be a snob when it comes to hefeweizens). The fries were also quite good but might have been slightly better with more seasoning. I followed that up with a bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon and onions. The overall burger was good (but not great), from the crispiness of the bun to the grass feed/organic beef to the apple wood bacon it was a good overall burger. I would say that Eureka (being a franchise burger joint) is a more upscale version of 5 Guys Burgers & Fries. My friend ordered the jalapeno burger and said his burger got better with each bite, he also said this place was really good but not great. I would tell you this is a good place to eat if your craving a good burger and don't want to step on peanut shells all over the ground. They also have quite the selection of different state beers and burgers. Their menu also extends to duck/bison/other styles of meats which sounded amazing on the menu, I plan on going back to try a few different items.

We called in some burgers on our way back in from Big Bear and I'm so glad that we tried this place out. The burgers (Jalapeño, Cowboy & Maui) were all really yummy and the Cobb salad was most delicious and big enough for two. The atmosphere was casual, the staff were friendly and the vibe was young and energetic.....nice and refreshing. Can't wait to go back and have a drink, the beer selection looks awesome!

Have been here twice. And will never return here again. The service is absolutely HORRIBLE! Like other reviewers have commented, the service is extremely slow and non-existent. On the last visit it took 45 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. Unacceptable! Our waiter checked in once and then was never to be seen again until the very end. Oh, did I mention our dinner of burger and fries took a little over 2 HOURS from the time we sat down until we finally got our card back!? On the positive, the food is actually pretty good, but I can't imagine this place will survive on that alone. Save your time and money and go someplace else!

This review is for a weekday evening visit with a few friends. We sat outside on a hot summer eve but with the misters on it was quite comfortable. The bad. Our service was fairly poor, especially for the amount of business that was going on. It took 15-20 minutes for our beers to come. We all ordered at the same time and the server brought out my friend's burger first; 30 minutes later she brought out ours even though we ordered the same thing. I realize issues in the kitchen happen, but there was no apology on behalf of the server whatsoever. As we ordered a few more beers throughout the evening the service got progressively slower as drinks were taking about 20 minutes to get to us. Now for the good, this place will last because it is one of two restaurants in Indian Wells and the fact that they stay open late will give them a monopoly in the area. They do carry local micro brews which is tough to find in the area. They also carry a variety of quality whiskeys as well. The food was ok, nothing great, nothing terrible but the fact that it took so long to get made the entire experience meh. Perhaps with more attentive service this place will come around.

Such a sad experience! We Wondered in there on a random Thursday night to experience Eureka for the first time. I sat down first without acknowledgement from any of the the 3 bartenders. Husband sat next with the same service. Finally after 10 min we got our first drink. Finished that & ordered another but one of the 3 bartenders forgot about the order so there we sat. Even though our drinks were empty the bartenders acted as though they didnt even notice. Blank stares were the way to go. When we finally were able to order again one bartender took the order but then got distracted serving a server beer samples for her personal consumption & apparently forgot about our order....again. Really? We had just come from the Yard House where one bartender has the entire section the size of the Eureka bar & shes quick & pleasant. I hope the owners take the time to look at the video tapes to realize this is a true annoyance. One patron even got up & left the bar after never being acknowledged. He was wearing a white button up shirt. I hope the owners see that as well & realize this is a ligitimate poor experience. The live music was great & created a fun vibe but due to such bad service we won't be back anytime soon.

A lite over a week ago my husband, son, and I came for for one of your signature hamburgers. Knowing that all equipment, employees, and personnel were new, We were very surprised as to how well everyone was taking care of us Brittney from Oklahoma.showed us Southern hospitality from the moment we sat down.. She was very attentive, made sure we didn't need anything. Brittaney made sure we should save room for derssert! The food was great, but but the atmosphere and good time was a result of the warm and engaging staff, this was an over all experience! Here is to many years of success!

First time diner - wanted to wait for the bugs to work out. Burgers were great so there is no complaint with the food. Service was less then acceptable. Once We ordered drinks and an appetizer , we finished our appetizers and still no drinks. Asked 3 times but no drinks. Finally the server got them. We ordered dinner and I ordered a beer. Still waiting for the beer. Waitress blamed it on slow bartenders and new ones training. I was able to see the bar and people sitting at the bar were getting drinks just fine. What is evident is the bar will serve bar patrons fine but don't service the dining room tickets. Will give it one more try, but with enough places to eat out here, it's not worth the trouble and aggravation.

Drinks are the real deal here. The quality control is obvious in the service and food. Bravo to the managers for running a tight ship. Old-fashioned, margarita, steak rolls, fig marmalade burger, sweet potato fries, chocolate soufflé...all on our table tonight, and all worth the final bill. If you are tired of footing bills for average fare, this place will renew your faith in the art of restaurant food. Prices are reasonable for the quality. I stand by this rec after having eaten here 4 times in the last few months. I am a mother of four who almost always chooses home-prepared meals over eating out. I am practical and picky, so it takes a meal and an atmosphere done right to win my vote. Two thumbs up.

Had a rough day at work; went to the bar met Charlie at the bar and all I got to say is wow! He knows he's stuff , very fun, outgoing personality . Food and service was excellent! Definitely the place to go on a Friday night to start the weekend!

I can't believe this place has only three stars! Maybe they are still working things out since they are a new restaraunt and there definitely are a lot of young people working there but the food is fantastic and every time I have been there since they opened I have had excellent service! My favorite burger so far is the cowboy with beer barbecue sauce and bacon so good! And the sweet potato fries with honey and cinnamon are the best I have ever had! The concept if their all American bar is totally admirable and right now this is by far my favorite place! Not sure why so many people have had issues, not once have I ran into any of these problems!

Yesterday I shared a late 2 PM lunch with a client and it happened to be the beginning of Happy Hour. The restaruant was not busy and we had a delightful server named John who was very accomodating and knowledgable about the various food items and beer on the menu. We each had the Happy Hour Salad which was a delicious mixture of spring type lettuce with finely chopped red onion, dried cranberries, crumbled blue cheese, chopped nuts and an occassional kidney bean. There was a wide selection of salad dressings all freshly made at the restaurant -- delicious. Then we shared the pork riblets - a large plate-full easily shared with a bit of a spicy sauce, very good and a great choice for a shared item. I'll go back and ask to be seated at John's table. When they first open I had terrible service from a slightly irritated female server, so I need to see what the service is like at noon time, but coming in for a late lunch was a most entertaining and enjoyable experience.

woot woot! 5 stars!!! my new fave place and its just down the street, even better!!! We have been here God knows how many times now.. The food is FABULOUS!! Everything we have had this far has been great.. The taco salad is to die for, the maui wow, the fig burger, the blue cheese burger, ai yi yi... i could go on and on... and its super cute and cozy. lots of reclaimed wood and strung lights on the patio... the only thing i wasn't cray about was the dessert.. but i still give them 5 stars. i loving it ;)

Absolutely the worst service ever!!! Our wait person never put our order in and when she realized it about 40 minutes after we arrived, she didn't apologize. I heard her tell her colleague in a laughing tone about her screw up before she even told us. I asked to see the manager who did apologize but the order still took another 20 minutes. Not sure why our order wasn't put ahead of others but it wasn't. The fig burger was tasty but the truffle fries were very soggy, cold and didn't have flavor. I wanted to like Eureka but it wasn't a good experience. If they can get their service issues resolved it might be a nice place but until then stay away!!

Went here for the "soft" opening. The burgers were great! I had the pearl street blues burger and my boyfriend had the jalapeno egg burger. The mac n cheese alfredo burger portion was quite small, but we let that slide. The servers were super cute and sweet, a little on the slower side, but they were doing their best with how busy the restaurant was! The management was great! Will be returning!

On par with some of the best burgers in the Coachella Valley. The Fresno Fig Burger is like nothing I've tried elsewhere. It's an odd combination of ingredients that just clicks. Try it! The fries are amazing. Hand-cut and simple. It doesn't seem like a tall order, but with so many places pulling fries out of a freezer bag, it's a refreshing change. For me, though, the real reason to get our burger here and not somewhere else is the fantastic beer selection that few places in the valley can challenge, including about 15 rotating taps, ensuring a new experience every time you visit. (The Ace in Palm Springs has a slight edge when it comes to beer, but I prefer the menu at Eureka. Yard House has *more* beers, but the list rarely changes and it all feels a little too corporate, including the aforementioned freezer fries. CVB is serious about--and seriously good at--beer, but isn't trying to also be a restaurant.) The service is occasionally slightly off, but management is very present, keeping things humming along nicely.

Was initially put off by the city giving a permit for a cutesy and trendy hamburger oriented sports bar which seemed totally out of place in Indian Wells, a small, very sophisticated, mature community. They occupy a building which was the previous home of an extraordinary and deeply revered French restaurant which closed in the last couple of years. That said we did try Eureka last week and were not as offended as I thought we would be. Others have classified it as a gastro pub and that is apt ---- there is a huge selection of craft beers on tap and their selection of spirits is more than adequate. The food is creative and at least a solid average in quality based on our one experience. Good points: We ordered two of the specialty hamburgers. They were cooked perfectly to order -- mine a perfect and moist medium rare and my wife's medium. Both were extremely tasty. Seating was prompt and polite even though the hostess and the servers were obviously very busy handling the large crowd of patrons. The renovations were creative and nicely done though one wonders what will eventually happened with the remainder of the building which is vacant and dark. Needing improvement: I ordered the "Savory" their moniker for a craft whiskey Manhattan. The mix was appropriate, the taste great and the volume generous but it was poured into a warm "just out of the wash" water tumbler which warmed the drink unpleasantly. If it had been stirred or shaken with ice before pouring into the glass that was not obvious and seriously detracted from the enjoyment of the cocktail. The noise level inside was fairly loud but that is to be expected and not much can be done about that. The inside of the restaurant was fairly dark and the inadequate print contrast on the menus caused many patrons to haul out their cell phone flashlights which was distracting. One of the servers was heard to ask a patron "would you like a flashlight" indicating that the management has perhaps stocked up on flashlights because of this problem. Judging by her tone, though, it was hard to tell if she was being sarcastic or sincere. The knife which came with the hamburger was very sticky with sauce from previous use or the servers hands. It was a bit of a thrash to eventually get the knife replaced. Summary: We will return and try some of the other menu items and I am anxious to try some of the beers. They are still new and fine tuning some of the kinks which have been reported by others. We recognize that food habits are in flux and this restaurant may very well be a decent fit into the town's environment. The best final description of Eureka is that it is a "Red Robin for adults" ---- no more, no less.

I went there on a Saturday night with two friends and we sat at the bar. I thought the bartenders were very friendly and helped us figure out what we wanted. The chicken tacos were wonderful and I love that so many beers and wines are available on tap.

We had dinner last night and the service was slow and we had two or three different servers of which one young man was really good and new the menu very well. We started with a couple of orders of the tempura green beans and they were good but not great. The riblets were pretty good and the truffle fries came out and were very limp & soggy so they took them back & gave us a fresh batch that was a bit crispier & better tasting. I had the wild salmon and was a bit disappointed...the people in our party that order burgers seemed to be pretty happy with their choices. Here's a problem, they only have one vodka on the entire drink menu & it's an unknown brand & tastes terrible. They do have a lot of beer & whiskey to choose from but one vodka that isn't even good... Really! We sat outside on the patio and that was lovely. It's great to have a fun, easy, casual place nearby to grab a bite at, but their menu needs some work, in my opinion. This was my second time dining at Eureka, and because it's convenient I will go back, but I will stick with dishes they are best at like a burger.

Good place. I had a cowboy burger with sweet potato fries and it was so good. The staff are pleasant and nice. My only complain is just the place is too busy it took us 15 minutes to have a seat. Drinks are fine. Good in and out restaurant. Will definitely comeback.

Just OK. Our little family of 3 got the booth right by the kitchen door. A/C was so cold our daughter went outside to warm up. Very small inside and very noisy. Service was extremely spotty and slow. One type of gin and minimal wine selection (small pour). Lollipop corn dogs good, but not for kids as they are sausage and come with spicy sauce. My husband had the "Just like mom used to make taco salad". Nothing like you'd imagine and certainly not like my mom, or his, used to make. Designer greens, dry hamburger mixture, not enough dressing. Just blah and dry! I tried the hot wings. Very mediocre. Luke warm and not spicy at all. We also tried the truffle fries. Ugh. Big monster plate of soggy home fries with a minimal cheese sauce on top. The sauce was good, but again luke warm and dry. The fries didn't taste like any truffle fry I've ever had. We told our server, she said she was sorry. Hard to believe we gave her such horrible feedback and no offer of talking with the manager or compensation, free desert, etc. We certainly didn't go for a free desert but expected some type of compensation or even contact from management. Actually, when we looked around for management we couldn't tell if there was any. We won't be going back. It's a shame because its a local restaurant for us. It will be interesting to see how this restaurant progresses this season as they seemed overwhelmed for a Sunday in August.

Eureka has moved into the former Le St. Germaine space in Indian Wells. Service was ok. Food was great! The burgers were wonderful, salads & starters were fantastic and the fish tacos were just ok. My only complaint about the food is that the only hot sauce they had was Tobasco and unless I'm drinking a Bloody Mary Tobasco is the worst. Stock some Cholula or Tapatio especially if you're going to serve fish tacos. The remodel leaves a lot to be desired especially the patio. All that the misting system does when it's 110 degrees outside is make it feel like a humid mess. The inside is small & cramped and had a 30 minute wait with no one wanting to sit on the patio and instead choosing to leave. Get rid of the stupid patio and enclose and air condition the whole thing. And get rid of the family style seating. No one wants to sit at a picnic table with strangers. Overall I understand what their going for here and it's a nice update to a normally stuffy location. With a few tweaks it just might make it.

UPDATING review below. 9/14913 Gave Eureka! another try. What a difference from our first experience. Our server, Kelsy, was excellent. Knew the menu and beer menu very well. She was very attentive, everyone was attentive. The fries were really good. Last time they were horrible like baked rather than fried. We were very pleased with our visit and look forward to returning. The music is only on Thursday nights. Sat in a booth this time so did not have the cold steel chair to deal with. Booth very comfortable. Hubby had fish tacos. Yum! ______________________ Won't be back. Chairs are cold metal and uncomfortable. And beware, if you have a bottom slightly large you will not fit between the side bars. Didn't expect super fast service, but did get super long wait for food to arrive. Hubby ordered the Eureka burger, said it was average. He got the onions rings for an extra $1.50 and got exactly 3 rings that had no taste. 3 rings for an extra $1.50!!! Ordered a beer. Wait staff never offered a second one. I got the Fig Marmalade burger with turkey rather than beef. Very good, although a bit sloppy to handle. Plenty of fries on the plate, way too many, too bad they were not good. Not doubled fried as good French Fries should be. Only plus, the skins were on. Live music is a nice touch, but the place is so small it is over powering. Turn the amp down. Because the decor is all hardscape, no carpeting, etc., the sound is deafening. Loved how the liquor bottles are backlit behind the bar. Waitress not very attentive. Had to wait for the bill quite a while. Yet you would think they would want to turn over the table since there were people waiting to be seated.

Went 2 times in one week with friends...wait staff glitches need to be worked out. Please don't take our plates away without asking if we are finished!!! Food good and average prices. Mistakes on bill...beware. Attentive and fast. Nice decor. Terrible AC that blows on you.

Had the Fresno fig burger very tasted. Reasonably priced, good service burger came out really quickly. Would recommend this place. Only downfall it's so hot on the desert that the musters make everything wet and clogs the salt shaker too.

Not worth it. The food it very vanilla, and the taste and quality are subpar. There is nothing about the taste or presentation that would make me consider calling this gourmet. Even the fries were flavorless and not high quality. Never going back.

The food was OK. An order of onion rings was 3 rings.. For $1.50 more! And burgers were alright. The medium was well done. The fries were small & the beer tastes watered down. As for the service... Super slow!!! Won't be back :(

Went here on New Year's Eve while visiting Palm Desert. No reservation and that didn't seem to be a problem--they were more than willing to seat us, even a table for us to watch the bowl game! The food was awesome! It was a little pricy, but we were prepared since it was New Years Eve (and with 3 kids). I probably couldn't afford to eat here every visit, but for a special night out with or without kids, I would pick this place again. Oh, forgot to mention, they didn't have a Margarita but rather a Tequila Special that resembled a Margarita! So good!

At the recommendation of staff member of a local brewery, we went for Happy Hour with friends to Eureka Restaurant in Indian Wells. We were not disappointed, this was a very nice experience. The establishment is chic and inviting, the beverage choices (read beers on draught!) was extensive and the food was great. We pretty all had burgers and the wife and I shared a burger and a salad as we often do. It was more than adequate for the two of us. I did notice the they also had what looked like a very comprehensive selection of whiskeys; but that review is calls for another visit.

This place is excellent! They offer a very unique spin on traditional food items. Their craft beverage menu is great, using local items. The ambiance and service are great. They are very accommodating to children offering an affordable children's menu. They also provide watermelon to the little ones as soon as they are seated, which is brilliant. I would definitely recommend!

Great beer selection, very nice knowledgeable & informative wait staff. I wasn't crazy about the dish that I ordered, but I know that my friend was satisfied with what he had ordered. Worth the stop!

I've been hearing good things, so I decided to try it and it was great!! I had the most popular burger per server sorry I can't remember what it was called, but as far as taste it was superb.. Super friendly staff, finally a late night spot with good food!!

We come to La Quinta every year around spring break to visit family. Came here with the wife as I was interesting in checking out a new craft beer burger joint. Came on a sunday around 8:30 and it wasn't terribly busy and so we got a nice booth. Ordered the Osso Buco riblets for an appetizer. Very filling and they were delicious. I ordered the jalapeno egg burger medium and it was probably closer to medium well but it was good. My wife ordered the fig burger medium and she said it was the best burger she's ever had in her life (she can easily name her top 3). She kept ranting and having about how good it was. I tried a few bites and it was fantastic. All the flavors come together perfectly. We had a number of craft beers and they had a pretty good selection. Certainly one of the best beer selections I've seen in Coachella valley. Overall we were both pleased and she absolutely loved the burger. I can guarantee she will be begging to come here again next time we are in town. Service was fine, no complaints or issues. They also have happy hour times in the afternoon and after 9 pm where beer's are a buck off and a lot of the appetizers are about half price. PS As others have mentioned the water tastes weird, but I didn't care because the food and beers were tasty.

I'm wishing to rewrite this review after a second visit: Maybe I had high expectations and I was disappointed: We didn't have reservations so we went to the bar to wait for a table and in less than 5 minutes we were called. That was great! We were sit at a table outside where the mist system literally wet me in seconds... I felt bad for that waitress, she had very little business in that station, it looked everybody moved from there... We moved to another table and literally, we had 3 different servers. I have no one to "blame" for the luck of hospitality or I can blame them all! The girl who took our order had NO CLUE of the menu... The water tasted like chlorine, thank God I smelled it before even try it! We had a refill, and in our case, two new glasses just because we asked for it by the end of the meal... Menu looks great, "gourmet" burgers and the one I order was ok: asked for medium rare and was well done... I wanted to leave feedback at the restaurant but I could not spot the manager or someone that looked was in charge. Again, I'll give it another chance and hopefully after a few weeks of being open, they will get it together!!!

Gourmet burgers and craft beers done right! It's about time we got a place like this in the desert (reminds me of Crow Bar in Newport Beach). Only been here twice since it opened, always been impressed with the food and service has been pretty good so far. I'm excited to try some of their many whiskey bar selections. Only giving Great spot. I definitely recommend it! Cheers, -J

I have to say that this place is a great addition to Indian Wells. I sat on the patio and I loved all of the misters keeping it cool and how comfortable it was outside in the heat. The inside is decorated very classy and modern and the staff was overall very nice. I had the Lollipop Corn Dogs to start which were amazing and not as heavy as I thought they may be. Then I had the Fig Marmalade Burger for dinner which I was a bit scared to order but also intrigued by and it ended up being really well balanced. My wife also enjoyed her California Grilled Chicken Sandwich. I should note they had a great beer selection as I love Green Flash and can't always find it in restaurants...speaking of which...they had Papy Van Winkle Whiskey too...which you really can't find ANYWHERE. All in all I am very happy to see this place open and plan on returning soon.

I eat at this Eureka Burger all the time. Its fantastic! Get the cowboy burger it's the best thing they have, and the fries are a nice twist on traditional french fries. Definitely get the beer sampler also. The Cali' Creamin' by Mother Earth is the best beer they have and I can't find it anywhere else! Great spot, way chill.

Another restaurant we ate at based on Yelp reviews. Another disappointment. We arrived for a late dinner for 4. I had the burger with onion rings, I ordered it medium and it came well done, and had appeared small in size (maybe due to overcooking). I was surprised it had no lettuce with the burger. My friend had the bone marrow burger which appeared smaller than mine and again no lettuce. He said it tasted kind of plain and probably taste better with a chipotle sauce. My wife had the cheeseburger, which again had no lettuce. She said the burger was blah and overcooked (she also ordered it medium) to the point she didn't eat more than a third of it. We ate outside which was nice. The manager (I guess), came to the table to ask what we thought of our meals. He told us how the bone marrow burger was made. He asked for suggestions and was very amiable.

Haven't felt the need to give a restaurant review in a long time. Had to for this restaurant. Menu is very burger heavy which would be great if the burgers actually tasted good. When my son, who will eat anything, leaves half of his burger on the plate, I know my assessment of the burger is right on.

Totally enjoy this place every time I go, which is often. Good ambience, friendly staff, great bar and excellent food. The desert has needed a restaurant like this. Definitely check it out. Try the fig burger and always hot sweet potato fries! Well it's all good so go for it...

Cowboy Burger // This burger was INTENSE. My group shared the burger and it was one of the best any of us have ever had. It was insanely juicy, but it didn't drip at all. The bun was superb -- chewy, tender, and buttery. The barbecue sauce was the perfect touch to the burger, sweet and tangy. Although we did have to ask for more, which I highly recommend. The burger didn't have quite enough when it first arrived. Even the bacon was the perfect thickness to be easy to bite through and not tough or chewy. Service // Not much to say: good, consistent, friendly! Nachos // We also got the nachos, which were decent, but we would not order again. Beer // The orange Hefeweizen was our favorite of the sampler. There's a great selection of beers here!

Yard House style of design for reference. Alcohol: Decent unique collection of beers on tap and bottled. Craft whiskeys are their specialty. Other alcohols are very limited. Drinks are overpriced compared to other upscale restaurants in the area. Food: Unique plates. Specialty burgers are their niche. Menu LOOKS good. Service: This is why I knock it down to 2 stars, maybe 1 star. Absolutely terrible. Most are under experienced waiters it seems. I've been here about 6 times and I've never had one meal without many things going wrong. The experience: Waitress didn't bring waters for almost 30 minutes. When they were brought, 1 person had a straw, one person didn't, one person had no straw and a lemon. Nothing was consistent throughout the meal. Started with an order of bruschetta with avocado. Came with no avocado and the waitress gave us an attitude for sending it back for it. Main course was a Vodka burger rare, came out medium well. Upgraded to a side salad with Lemon vinaigrette and the dressing was no where to be found. I ordered a whiskey sour which came out fine, but when I ordered another one, the new drink was poured into my old glass over the old ice and used garnish. The only thing that was consistent was the terrible service. The next 4 times I went I had similar experiences, all with different servers, but to no avail. I would no recommend this place for the experience. Maybe worthy of ordering some take-out to enjoy their unique burgers.

We stopped in for cocktails and desert and were VERY pleasantly surprised. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service was very good. The server made excellent recommendations and helped everyone in our party find a drink that were VERY happy with. It is always a good sign when the staff KNOWS their offerings and can intelligently discuss them and help their customers find something they will be happy with. Second, an EXCELLENT selection of cocktails, and especially whiskey selections (about 25 - 30!!). I found a WONDERFUL single-malt from Oregon that was fabulous. This is always a BIG plus for me being a single-mald drinker as most places have the same 3 - 4 selections and it is truly special to find something new, and to really enjoy it. Lastly, their deserts were very good. Only 2 selections on the menu, but both were excellent. a chocolate espresso souffle cupcake with ice cream on top and an AWESOME butterscotch pudding that was truly amazing. The menu looks wonderful and has some intriguing options and I cannot wait to be able to get back to try some of them. They are opening a location in Berkeley in a couple months and I can see myself becoming a regular. Go and try this place - you WILL be very happy you did.

Had a fast lunch today. Food was mediocre. Not that it was bad just bland. I like to think I am a bit of a whisky nut and they have a lot of whiskey. The down fall is that they have zero knowledge of the product they have to offer. The only upbeat part of the lunch was our server. She was prompt and had a great disposition ;-). Safe to say I'm not running back.

I visited the location for the first time and enjoyed the elegant decoration of the restaurant. It felt very clean. I ordered the original burger but I felt it lacked flavor (salt). The seasoned fries, the burger bun, and the size of the meat patty were good but overall I was not impressed with the taste.

My husband and I returned with both of our young sons on a Friday night and got seated right away. As we were seated, the server, Tayler, we had our first time there greeted us. It was great to see she remembered us! We both tried the tortilla burger and the fig marmalade burger. We loved them both! My oldest son loved the kids burger so much, he ordered another one! Melissa was our server and she was wonderful! We're already planning on returning soon!

I am currently in the area for work and have taken residence at the nearby Ritz Carlton. During our stay our group has decided that the majority of our meals will be had at Eureka and not our hotel. Why? Service. We found that our expectations were better met here than spending a considerable amount more at the resort. The food for the most part was consistent, but returned for the staff. Ask for James or Gina, our favorite servers. They should be here, fixing this hotel.

  • MG D.

When I go to an establishment that serves pricey pints of craft beers, I'd like to pay for a full pint. Consistently, the bartenders at Eureka give you 2 inches of foam on the top instead of beer. I'd also like to see this local restaurant supporting Coachella Valley businesses by serving an assortment of COACHELLA VALLEY BREWING COMPANY brews!

The night was chilly so we didn't want to sit outside. Inside the only choice is in the same room as the bar, with 4-5 TVs above it blasting on different stations. There was also lousy, loud music playing. There was another tv over our table. Needless-to-say, we couldn't carry on a conversation. We ordered the Osso Buco Riblets to start. They were so spicy hot that I started choking, my eyes watering, and had to ask for a glass of milk. Husband couldn't eat them either. When the server came to pick up the half eaten plate, she said, "Yeah, they are too hot for me, too." But she hadn't said a word when we ordered them. Thanks for the warning. We followed that with 2 Cowboy Burgers, which were good, but they both were cooked the same (we cut each in half). His was supposed to be med rare; mine, medium well. Neither tasted as if the meat had been seasoned at all. No reimbursement for the appetizer. We couldn't wait to get out of the place. We won't be back.

What brought us in were their craft beers and burgers, but what will being me back time again are their service, ambiance, and amazing specialty cocktails. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our pleasant time on the patio---perfect temperatures & shade, plus all sound was muted with fountains! Next, we had the pleasure of ordering two new specialty cocktails that hit the high bar! I love quality infusions that balance flavors and key flavor elements. Show stopper, folks! Next we had the classic burger...perfectly cooked and seasoned! Thank goodness, because I'm forever disappointed in a failed burger experience! Excellent fries, too! I had to try the kale salad...lightly dressed, perfectly paired with walnuts and cranberries...of get this every time! We finished the night off with the chocolate soufflé and dark, chocolatey beer...pure bliss! The staff...that was the icing on the cake, the creme a la creme! Excellent service & knowledge. Ready to go back!!!

First time at Eureka, it was ok, not great, both of us had burgers which were ok but not great. Service was not very good, grabbed plates right away, never offered any water refills, felt pretty rushed. Great patio area, the only reason I would go back. Grilla burger still fav for burgers.

Great spot for late night or patio, even in the summer. It is shaded and has misters and fans (heaters in the winter). Very dog friendly, too! Good happy hour menu (2-6, 9-close) and friendly staff. The manager was incredibly nice. Try the Rum Pudding for dessert -- it is a salty/sweet treat.

The ambiance is good, and the burgers are great, but mostly everything else on the menu is not that great at all, it sounds a lot better than it tastes. I've been here a couple of times, and everytime, the service is so slow and unattentive. The waiters hardly come to the table to see if you need anything and I constantly find myself waiving down other waiters to get anything. I once waited 20 mins and asked 3 different people for water cause my waiter had not been to our table in so long and my cup had been empty for a while.

    (3)
  • Jenna B.

Eureka is a great addition to the Indian Wells area. It has a younger more trendy vibe and is a great place to grab a work lunch. The sweet potato fries are awesome and the burgers are pretty good. The menu is pretty diverse as well. I'll definitely go back.

Went here on a Friday night around 7:00 with a party of 6 and only had to wait 25 mins, not too bad. The service was quick and our waitress was really on top of things. The food was very good, everyone ordered burgers and left clean plates! A huge plus for me was the option to add truffle sauce to your fries for $1

Eureka offers some of the best burgers in the desert but the environment could be a deal-killer for some. Tables are very close together and, at least, at lunch, the raucous music was so loud that we were raising our voices to be heard across the table. Too bad, too, because the food is wonderful and the service is, too.

We are visiting from San Diego and ate dinner here because we were looking for microbrew beer. The food was good but average. We have high microbrewery beer standards coming from north county San Diego and so I felt the beer selection was also average. I think The Yard House is a better choice.

This was not a good dining experience. We waited ten minutes just to get seated on a less than busy night. It took a very long time to get our order in. My wife ordered wine I order a beer that did not arrive until after we were served our burgers. Also when they say they will bring you a sample of their beer it is not free it was a nine dollar sample. Not even a full glass combined. The burger buns were soggy and very greasy. Would not go back to Eureka Burger!!!!!

I decided I wanted a burger, but when I got to the resturant I saw some fish tacos go by and I had to have them. My server, Bou recommended them highly, and boy, was she right! Best tacos I have had in a very long time. Bou was a joy to be served by and the food was great. You won't be disappointed!

  • Nate O.

Food was great. But I did not want fries with my burger, so I asked for onion rings. The server said that is fine but they charge $1.50 extra. I said that is fine. Then my food comes out. Great burger and 3 onion rings!!! I look over at the table next to me and see a burger with fries overflowing off the plate. I ask the server about my 3 onion rings I just paid 50 cents each for and missed out on my mountain of fries for. He said ya you more fries for less....... That is it! No extra onion rings or fries. 4 drinks 1 appetizer and two dinners and $1.50 for 3 onion rings. And yes He still got a great tip. But you would think the manager would have stopped by table to say something or wave the $1.50.... Don't think I will be going back. I don't think onions are to much more than potatoes...

Great burger joint. Had the cowboy burger and it was perfect. The fries were great and the riblets were awesome. Big selection of beers and whiskey. God awful service bartender obviously has zero idea what she's doing how you can mess up the same drink 3 times and take 20 minutes to deliver it blows my mind. Slow night too many people in staff not doing anything. How they have repeat customers is baffling. Only good thing was they comped our drinks that they had to remake 3 times...

    (1)
  • Michelle P.

The food was mediocre but the service was the worst I've ever had in a restaurant. They pride themselves on hiring young kids with a "great attitude" but they know absolutely nothing about the restaurant business (our server was fresh from Jack In The Box). The concept of "training" missed this place altogether. They are better suited to a college campus where no one cares about service, than in Indian Wells, CA where the clientele is a bit more discerning. The events that unfolded are too numerous to recount here but suffice it to say I won't be back. Five Guys and In N' Out Burger beat this place - hands down!

Second time to Eureka! And the burgers are still good the riblets and Mac were also good... Just stay away from the crabs sliders my wife didn't care for them at all and she is a foodie also they really need to learn how to pour draft beer the heads on the beers are ridiculous...

  • Hailey C.

The food was mediocre, I had the chicken tacos which were really dry, and stale fries, but I had a server named Haley and she made up for the food by fixing the stale fries and bringing me a complimentary plate of sweet potato fries(which were awesome!!) and being super sweet, apologetic, and attentive. I feel like I would still give the restaurant a second chance, the fun, hip environment makes it worth the visit.

The food was good but a little spendy. The manager Gina made a comment that was inappropriate while we were leaving that we heard. "It's about time they leave", to the bus boy. We had only been there maybe an hour. Allen is a fantastic bartender.

It pains me to give this place a bad review as I get so excited when new restaurants come to the valley. Unfortunately, we've given this restaurant a chance on 6 different occasions. Our first visit was relatively early on and I believe they may have had a ton of trainers working as the service and food was amazing. it went downhill from there each and every visit after. We experienced non attentive service, multiple mistakes on orders, unapologetic service (even from a manager) and quality of food was marginal. I really hope they get the original trainers in and bring service and quality levels back up to where it was. We may try again in a few months. Fingers crossed!

I was in town last weekend and visited Eureka again!! I always have such a great experience here from food to service to the selection of beers. Been there twice, first time had the Eureka Burger, all I could taste was the red onion. Second time ordered the Bleu cheese burger MR it came out week done with little tiny bits of fries, not a great presentation. 0-2!so far?

What a joke. Hostesses friendly, bartenders not so much in fact sat at the bar for 10 before one of the 3 bartenders even said a word. The place was busy. Beer on tap, wine and American bourbons and whiskey. Yea that's what I want to drink with my food. One vodka, one gin, one tequila, two rums one regular, one spiced no name brands. I wanted to stay and eat but I was sitting at the bar and I got nothin' no interaction -no "would you like to order some food"? - nothin'. 16 employees and the manager had to come behind the bar to "help" the unknowledgeable bartenders. Thanks I'll pass.

Great experience! We've eaten at the Claremont location, love the bar, so happy they've come to the desert! Star was our server, she was great...warm, funny and very attentive. Brian the manager came over and introduced himself, chatted us up for a while, very friendly, offered great beer suggestions, made us feel very welcome! Had the crab cake sliders and wings, both great, the fries were delicious, perfectly seasoned. We'll be back, wonderful experience!

This is a new place with a lot of potential... servers are quite green and they don't really know the menu or the drinks yet, but once you get your order -the drinks are strong and the food is good. Burgers are generous and meat is fresh - just check that the meat isn't overcooked.

During our meal, they changed our server 4 times. Service ended up being terrible. Actually considered doing a "dine and dash" since we waited so long for check! Food was mediocre. Basically a burger place. Web site said they had live music and there was none. Decor was nice, but will not be returning.

A genuine joy! The kids initially were pessimistic(they wanted Applebee's) & they left thrilled! Rare to find a place with great drinks, food, & ambiance...for a family! True to it's name...we found it! Like: Riblets...wow Salmon Steak Children's burger Mojito Rotating tap...Ballast Point Calm Before the Storm today...WOW! Wish: We had one in Riverside!

I really wanted to like Eureka. My old roommate used to rave about this place and said that they had the best burgers she has ever had. I admit they offer a variety of burgers and they do sound delicious; however, in comparison to other burger spots (especially to those in LA) they just cannot compare. FOOD: I went in on a Saturday night and this place was packed. It was filled with people wanting to take a seat inside and cool off from the heat. Although they do have outdoor seating with mists above, no one wanted to sit out there. To start our meal, we ordered some beers. For a burger joint, they didn't have a huge selection of beer... I was pretty disappointed. For food, I ordered their Fresno fig burger which is a beef patty with fig marmalade, melted goat cheese, bacon, tomato, red onion, spicy porter mustard, and your choice of side. Overall, the sweet and savory notes of the burger were quite nice. The sweetness from the jam compared to the bitterness of the arugula and savory/tangy goat cheese was a marriage of flavors. But the meat wasn't as juicy as I'd like (and I ordered it to be a medium rare but I was a served a medium/medium well). All together, my burger didn't leave me amazed. To me, it was just a regular old burger. For my side, I got their side salad because I wanted to try their truffle fries instead. Salad was standard. 3/5 Their parmesan truffle fries were just all right. The texture of the fries weren't crispy. They were more flimsy and soft and I didn't taste much truffle oil. SERVICE: Not amazing. This place was busy but our server just disappeared right after we ordered. We had to flag a different server to place an order of another round of drinks. Will I be back if I were in Palm Springs? Quite possibly. Would I come back if it was in LA? Very unlikely.

We've been driving by this place for a while having no idea it was there until a friend told us about it. So we gave it a try. Got there on a Wednesday evening and were seated fast inside. The four of us tried the Corn Dog Pops (great) the Wings (meh) the Osso Buco Riblets (blah, tough chewy and sour tasting) and the Mac an Cheese Alfredo (this was awesome). Whilst everyone was killing the appetizers, I tried the Jalapeño Egg Burger and the Truffle Cheese Fries. The Burger was awesome and the Fries were pretty good, but nothing I'd order again. Overall it was a fairly good experience. For me however, the main drawback is slow service and the blaring music. Actually too loud to have a conversation over dinner. Not at 6pm on Wednesday anyway. That plus the very uncomfortable metal chairs, wtf? These are like DMV waiting room chairs. I could not wait to leave.

We stopped in here for a late dinner after I hosted a client party at the La Quinta resort and needed some food fast. I ordered the naked chicken and it was quite tasty and just what I was looking for. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and good food all make for a great experience!

I recommend their cowboy burger it is to die for. Did not like how loud the band was when we were there it made it very hard to have a conversation. The place is also on the pricey side

YUM! Went here with adults and children and it was a perfect mix of food for everyone. Must tries are the Chicken Taco's and the Potato Soup, and to be honest probably any of the Burgers. Service is a little slow, but food totally worth it.

It's 'good enough'. A nice and simple menu - easy to read and 'get'. We started with the Shishito pepper app and it was ok. The peppers could have been 'finessed' a bit better - (read = properly popped) and absolutely need salt. Some nice sea salt something smokey would have been a delight. We added a bit of cheap table salt. Next up Flat Iron steak - pretty sure this was the winner tonight! Perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. Someone back there knew their meat! As for the Bison burger - meh?! Too sweet, not enough char to the exterior but well cooked in center. The jam though has hardly any bite and a whole lot of extra sugary notes that make it hard to get through a bite or four. Didn't finish. The pacific white taco starter was okay as well, the fish could stand some seasoning and it didn't have that fresh from today flavor, in spit of our proximity to the freshness of the sea - but my bad for ordering fish on Saturday! We had a great couple of glasses of a nice hearty Cab (the Justin) and found out all of their wine is local only - California nothing from anywhere else. The ice tea pretty darn good! But the lemonade is not fresh - Minute Maid. Nope. Now this to me is the reason we dumped a star. Not having fresh squeezed lemonade in the desert where citrus abounds on every corner is just criminal. Absolutely a big fat no no. I mean honestly!! There is a lemon tree not 100 meters away offs! The soufflé was a lovely thought but the chocolate wasn't properly tempered and made for a gritty bite and taste. Maybe consult with pastry and TASTE EVERYTHING folks before it leaves the kitchen! Yes. At the end of the day the pros outweigh the cons and now we have a baseline for their average so we will venture by again as it is so close to our desert abode and way better than fast food. We'd love to know more about the offerings and I think the wilted kale salad under the flat iron is amazing!

Great iced tea and that's a surprisingly important when looking to the quality of any restaurant for me. Good drinks and a damn fine burger. Very friendly service and even when we said everything was fine the waitress notice I didn't like my drink and reran the bill without the drink. That goes a long way in my book. 7 stars

I did enjoy this place quite a bit. Came in town on vacation and a friend of ours suggested this place and I am glad she did. When I hear burger place, I expect something much more of a fast food joint and this place is far from it. Dark, cozy atmosphere, full of beer, whiskey and tons of food options. We got the mac n' cheese, the portion was quite small but enough for all four of us to have a couple of bites. -Mac N' Cheese Alfredo orecchiette / creamy alfredo sherry sauce / fried sage $6 Next was the truffle fries, which were okay, not the best I have had but did the trick for the time being. -Truffle Cheese Fries creamy Havarti truffle sauce / green onions $8 And finally, ended up having: Fresno Fig Burger fig marmalade / melted goat cheese / bacon / tomato / red onion / arugula / spicy porter mustard / signature handcut fries 12. I can definitely tell you that the burger was a nice treat, definitely different. I think it could have used a bit more bite, meaning more goat cheese or mustard to just put it over the edge. They also make their own ranch dressing, tons of garlic, just how I like it! I can see myself coming back here to try their amazing beer selections and whiskey/scotch. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. And leaving no room for dessert, we ended up getting one on the house anyhow and I must say that I am glad they gave it to us! It was a delicious apple cobbler, it was amazing!

Burgers and standard bar fare with a modern or foodie twist. The food is average to good. some dishes are a miss in my book, and very spendy for somewhat small portions for the price. The whiskey selection is varied and top notch for craft style distillers, found a few gems in the mix. Otherwise the restaurant was busy and kind of dirty that day, tons of flies on the wall/windows, but that is not how it usually is, so likely a victim of sudden humidity/rain that week. The dirty floor and utensils cant be blamed on the weather though.

My bad for this late review! I went back to give them a second chance, and they were amazing. Service was so much better. No errors on my bill or orders. They paid attention to our empty water glasses AND drink (sodas & iced teas are refillable) - they came to refill them without asking! I didn't have any trouble locating the restaurant this time around, and I knew exactly where to park (they were still very crowded though). Luckily I had a reservation because there were several parties waiting in line. The hostess was very helpful with keeping us updated; we got to look at menus while waiting. Try the jalapeno egg burger! It's got the egg and bacon - 2 very yummy things! The grilled chicken sandwich was ok. The avocado caught my eye, and I'm such a sucker for avocado.. I tried the Honey Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries, and they are literally drizzled with honey. If you're not into semi-soggy, sweet fries, then I suggest you stick with their regular fries. I thought they tasted good/sweet - I recommend not taking these home.. The ambiance of the restaurant is something else. The outdoor patio is really nice because you can enjoy the sunset without being burned. The decor is semi romantic. Good for taking your other half out for a date without having to dress too fancily. I haven't tried the bar, but it looks really nice, too. Crowd is generally older..(it's in Indian Wells, duh..), but I did see families with kids. They have coloring books available! Lastly, props to their marketing team.. I love their website - very neat! eurekarestaurantgroup.com

Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Nice trendy but casual place. Ordered the fig burger but subbed in a portabella mushroom cap as my patty. It was a great sandwich. I subbed out fries for sweet potato fries. Worth the $1.50. Ordered the espresso chocolate cake and it was delicious. It's enough for 2. I'd go back

It's a beer oasis in the desert, but don't worry, no mirage here. Solid 20+ tap handles. Mother Earth, Saint Archer, and Cismonte to name a few. Happy to see the latest Stone Enjoy By (5/16/14). So clever to put a date that you have to drink the beer by before it's gone. Tricky gargoyle. Hoppy hour is a new daily event that takes place from 2-5 and 9-close. 1 off pints. Appetizer menu becomes extremely cheap. Weekends have 5 dollar bloody Mary's. Guy next to us had one. It had a stick of bacon sticking out of it. Next time. Can't really comment too much on the food but if it's anything like the nacho app we had, I'm sure it doesn't disappoint. Hand pulled chicken, right amount of cheese, and a sweet BBQ sauce. New favorite place in Palm Springs!

Being a fan of hamburgers, I came here with the wife for my birthday earlier this month. I was expecting a "burger joint" with a good selection of craft beer, but was pleasantly surprised by the upscale decor and ambiance. We sat on the patio, which has plenty of outdoor heaters to keep all the patrons warm. The burger and beers were all good, and the service was very attentive -- at least until it came time to pay, at which point our server went MIA. I will return here, and do some further exploring of the menu.

First impressions are everything and we we're let down here. The atmosphere and decor are 4 plus stars and the starters looked to be very good. Our truffle fries and the sweet potato fires were the best thing we ate here. Unfortunately my wife sent back her Saltan Boca Chicken and we ate half of my Cuban Pork Sandwich because the meat in both dishes tasted and smelled old. Unacceptable for a restaurant to make it these days serving non fresh food.

this site second time in a couple of months that I've been to Eureka and the front entrance smelled of urine. the washroom smelled horrible as well. I not sure if it's the same smell drifting out to the hostess stand, but someone has to address this. We continued to dine, but the smell left such a horrible impression, that I not sure I'll comeback any time soon.

My wife and I needed a place to eat that could accommodate our baby sleeping in a stroller. Not only did Eureka go above and beyond to make sure we were seated in a great part of the patio, they lowered the music a bit. The corn dogs are great, the riblets tasted like chicken, and the fries (sweet potato and original were nothing to write home about) What had us come two times in one weekend was the Pearl Street burger. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Bun was a little soggy and we still devoured it. One of the best burgers I'd had in a while. The restaurant even cut the burger in half for us so we could share, (without us asking) and when we asked if they had Honey Mustard (which they didn't) the waitress offered to go in the back and mix together Honey and Mustard for us. Where has that ever happened? We were pleasantly surprised by this place. Eureka! They are onto something!

Enjoyed our dinner. I loved my Fresno Fig Burger. Very tasty. My husband had a different burger - the Napa burger but it was much too soggy for his taste. The wine list is extensive but mostly expensive. I felt the entire dinner ended up being a little more than I would have like to have spent - got upcharged for "sweet potato" fries that I didn't even enjoy...oh well...the ambience is nice and service was good.

We went to Eureka because it was close to our hotel. I'm glad we did! They have a daily happy hour with bloody mary specials. The Bloody Marys were spicy and tasty! They come with a thick slice of bacon! They are actually a trendy restaurant, so you can get more than just burgers. I got a beet salad with arugala and goat cheese. It was excellent! I order the pop rocks on the side. I'm sure it would have been a fun addition to the salad, but I wasn't feeling that adventurous. My mom got a quinoa salad that she said was excellent, and that she wanted to eat for lunch every day. On to the meat! As we were in the Southwest (I consider Palm Desert to be the southwest still), my fiance decided to try the grilled tortilla burger. I've never seen such a dish, and I didn't know how it would go. Well, his burger arrived, sliced down the middle, and it was amazing! The thing is wrapped up like a fancy thick crunchwrap from taco bell. The tortilla had a great flavor (as it was grilled) and held the burger very well. The flavors of the burger were great. It was a spicy burger with jalapenos, but I was able to take a bite without much burn (I saved the spicy for my fiance). He loved it. Oh! I almost forgot, the fried were good too! Just the right amount of crispy! So, all in all, this place was great. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. They were willing to hold an ingredient which I'm sure they say would make the dish (pop rocks on my salad) and didn't make an issue about it. The music was good, the patio was comfortable, and ambiance is southwest trendy (think Scottsdale, AZ), and most importantly, the food was of quality and delicious. If I'm ever back in Palm Desert, I will be back.

Tried this place for the first time after seeing the great reviews on yelp. Decided to get the Napa Burger with fries which was pretty great tasting. Burger was a little on the smaller size but definitely a must try. They have a great whiskey and beer selection. They even have sample platters for them which I thought was a nice touch. Love the decoration of this place. Came during their happy hour which is from 2-6p and was pretty disappointed on their happy hour menu. Not much to choose from and prices weren't great.

Upscale burger joint. They jazz up the burgers with fun combinations of sweet, savory, spicy, bold. My favorite meal is the Fig burger, medium, with a side salad instead of fries. You read it right. FIG burger. For "food is good." No really, they take fig preserves and combine it with so many delicious toppings that just compliment each other. It's wow. If only I were still a "woo girl." They have a nice variety of beer with a rotating tap. Try the Cali Creamin' if they have it while you're there. I've also had the bone marrow burger which is rich and buttery. Can't go wrong with it either. Oh, alright, WOOOOOO!!!!

I have been here a couple times now and man I am always satisfied with the service and food here! This is a low key establishment that has a modern look with a relaxing vibe. They have outdoor and indoor seating plus a bar that you can sit at if you don't want to wait for a table. They have a few TVs at the bar with the games on too!! If you hit up the bar then Kyle or Kevin will take care of you! Every time I had an issue with something they went out of their way to correct it haha even when I told them it was alright This place gets busy fast towards the evening so try to get here early to get your table. They have a wide variety of ales with samples courtesy of the bartenders! They also have plenty of whiskey to keep you going. The servers are friendly and the cooks push out the food fairly quickly. The food here is great! Try their burgers and the truffle fries! If you like it spicy, they have pickled jalapeños or fresh jalapeños (extra spice)! The only negatives would be parking and the chairs at the bar haha I don't feel reassured that they can support you, maybe get new seating for the bar. Overall 5 stars because this place is what you want out of a local bar/restaurant and much more. Fully recommend to anyone seeking something different! Oh and FYI avoid the "tortilla burger" nothing special about that dish haha reminded me of an Applebee's quesadilla burger.

Great service from our server Sara, great food. Wife had fish tacos that were delicious. I had a very flavorful steak salad. Steak was perfectly cooked. Kids all enjoyed their kids menu fare. Finished with the butterscotch rum pudding which was fantastic. Great meal, great service... Not much more you can ask for.

First time here and I was very worried while reading the menu. Some ingredients I knew.. but most of them I was very confused about. I`ve never heard of some of the ingredients.. So I was very skeptical.. We ordered an appetizer from the happy hour menu which was riblets. They were pretty good for the price. Finished it all!! Next our entree.. I ordered the steak and it was just... tooooo oily for me. Even if its olive oil.. Too much is too much. I thought my steak was drenched in oil.. So I couldn`t finish it.. had to leave about half of the dish untouched. My bf ordered a burger and he didnt finish it all too because it was too oily for him too.. Maybe we chose the wrong items to order.. but yea.. overall too much oil for us to handle. So we just left half of our food untouched.. Maybe I`ll give it a try one more time but order something that had less oil..

We stopped at Eureka! completely by accident back in August. We wanted something to eat that wasn't fast food and this was the only restaurant open in the area in the afternoon. It is fantastic. Great atmosphere, great service, and outstanding and very creative food.

I was given he opportunity to join a friend for lunch two weeks ago.. I went and his chopped Cobb salad was really good. I had the blue cheese burger.. I loved it. Being I had a $25 gift card from the Manager I took my daughter and friend a week later. We arrived at 5 pm, I ordered the chopped Cobb salad. Half way through eating my friend pulled a 3 inch silver hair from my salad. All in all I was done. Two out of three tries ... I won't be back.

Great creative food with tons of flavor! Came here after staying at the embassy suites near by for the Coachella Music Festival! They also had a good section at the festival which was very popular. The restaurant is large and has ample seating indoors and outdoors. The menu is great, has a ton of options as well as a good selection of beers. The corn dogs immediately caught my eye so I had to order them and boy was I happy I did! They were amazing, the sausage inside the breading was very good, juicy and not burnt thankfully. It was also served with Dijon mustard, ranch and ketchup, all you needed for the corn dogs to be enjoyed. I decided to go with the chicken sliders for my entree. They were so good, and surprisingly filling for their small size. The chicken was not to crispy, but cooked just right. I also enjoyed the pickles as well, they were served very cold and were crunchy to the bite. Overall I enjoyed my experience here very much and will definitely be wanting to check out more of their locations around California!

I been to this place four times and I get my favorite burger the jalapeño egg burger it's super delicious. Great atmosphere and the waiters are kind too. I been wanting to come back but don't have time. The only thing about this restaurant is that I feel like I have to go dressed up, feels like a fancy restaurant to me. But overall good food and drinks and food employees.

No surprises just good food, drinks and sports. Came here for Thursday night football and sat at the bar. Several tv's mounted on the wall above the bar carried the NFL and college game. The menu is not huge but had traditional options like burgers, wings and salads. They didn't have tradition Buffalo Wings but the firecracker version was close enough. Burger options were unique with toppings such as bone marrow and egg. I had a light salmon and mixed vegetable dish that was well prepared. The cocktail selection was large and the bartenders were very active keeping up with demand. A large beer and whiskey selection was impressive. The wine list was short. A band was also playing and was quite entertaining. Everything was good and this is a good option for upgraded pub grub, sports, beer and creative cocktails.

What a nice place to go and just relax. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. and sat at the bar and made ourselves comfortable. We made it for happy hour. A huge selection of beers on tap and bottle. Sadly, the bartendress wasn't very pleasant. I mean, she was cordial, but didn't really click with my wife's and my chattiness. In other words, she wasn't really chatting back. And the bar wasn't really busy. Oh well. But, the four stars, because of the beer, nice tv behind bar and just a nice place. And the burgers were good! I had the Fresno Fjg burger and my wifey the Cowboy burger. They were prepared exactly how we wanted them, and they were delish. They're also big in whiskeys. I didn't notice any name brands, but they were good. Hey, it was a Wednesday evening, so not a packed house. It's a great option if you want something very good. I just loved to sit at the bar. Give it a try and you might just say, "Eureka!"

Eureka has some great burgers, each with some pretty interesting twist. I had the Fried Egg burger which came with bacon, jalepenos, and spicy chipotle sauce. It was fantastic I have to say. Loved the intricacies in the flavors and the way the egg just made the flavor spread throughout the burger. Couldn't have asked for anything more from the burger. And I substituted the regular fries for sweet potato fries which have to be some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. They were cinnamon sweet potato fries with maple syrup. Heavenly. Eureka has a good whiskey/bourbon/scotch selection, but I had an old fashioned which was pretty bleh. Not much to it, standard at best. Wouldn't recommend it. Also, our service was always rather slow. Our waiter got stuck on a large, 8 person table and that basically consumed all his time. But even then, it took a while to get the attention of another waiter. I'd go back again for sure, the food was fantastic.

Excellent food! We come here often for the high quality meat and local fresh veggies. The caesar salad is grilled slightly and delicious, the wings (both flavors) are a must have, the nachos are great, and the burgers of course are divine. Our favorites are the fig burger and the blues burger. Garlic fries are awesome but the sweet potato fries with honey hit that sweet tooth with satisfaction. yum.

My boyfriend and I have talked about wanting to try Eureka! since we heard about the opening; however, we aren't big on eating out and it just never seemed to fall into place. Our friends rave about the food constantly, so, on Saturday night, we decided to add it to our "kid-free" evening of alone time (which doesn't come around too often). We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm and the dinner crowd was in full swing. We were immediately greeted at the door by a friendly gentleman who walked us to the beautifully crafted patio. Our table gave us a view of nearly the entire restaurant. My boyfriend isn't very daring, so a basic burger suits his needs; however I was ready to try something new. We were extremely impressed with the entire menu, but I settled on the Jalapeño Egg Burger... It couldn't have been a better choice for my first visit to the restaurant. A fantastic burger with crispy bacon, cheese, jalapeños and a fried egg... An egg? In a burger? FANTASTIC! While we waited for our food we had an opportunity to take in all of the great details of the space. The light fixtures, chalkboards and lit back craft beer bar all fed our senses. It was the perfect night out for us, on a night we truly needed a special moment together. Thank you for the experience! We'll be back soon; I had my eyes on some contenders on the menu that might (and I stress might) compete with the Jalapeño Egg Burger. But that burger sure set the bar high.

This is my favorite restaurant in the valley but is slowly coming off my top list. They had a wonderful manager, Paul, that always took the time to say hello to the customers and make sure we were getting great service. I don't know why he's no longer there but they should have tried their best to keep him there. On top of that, they removed my favorite item (the skirt steak) AND they changed their happy hour to end from 6 pm to 5 pm now. That dissolves any motivation from me to leave right after work and go there! That took away the two visits a month that were a tradition in my family. Now I go for an occasional lunch (maybe once a month) to enjoy the outside patio seating and osso bucco riblets and bruschetta.

I really wanted to like Eureka so that I'd have a new spot to take out of town guest. It was clean, even the bathroom and the tables, chairs and floors. I took my daughter out for a bite on a Saturday. We ordered sliders w/fries to share. The sliders were okay, a bit cold and the fries tasted of old oil and were cold. I won't be going back. There are locally owned eateries that I would rather support now knowing that Eureka doesn't give discounts to locals. Thank you

5/6/15 Our group sat outside on the nice patio for an early dinner. The restaurant, which has been many alliterations over the years, has settled on Eureka! The food is all-American, and the menu is not limited to burgers. Yet, our group of 5 each ordered burgers. We ordered bruschetta and Lolllipop Corn Dogs as appetizers. The corn dogs were artfully displayed with scattered bits of minced Italian parsley, nect to a trio of sauces. The Porter Mustard was the best. They captured the golden tecture and crispness of a corn dog, but the dough part did not taste much like masa or corn. More to come...

I loved this place. We were in town on vacation and a local friend suggested this restaurant because it was much more affordable than the ones at our resort. There is plenty of parking and seating (both inside and outside). It is worth noting they have misters on the patio, which I found to be thoughtful given the hot weather. There were also numerous TVs around the restaurant for those who wished to watch any sporting events. Our waiter was more than helpful when it came to the menu and any other concerns we had. He was attentive and friendly as well. The prices were more than reasonable and the food was delicious. I found most of the menu to be unique and slightly different, but in the best way. I tried a burger with interesting combination of condiments including a sunny side up egg. It was great! The rest of my party also got burgers and said their meals were just as good. We also split the truffle fries and mac n cheese. Those appetizers were also to die for. In addition to food, we ordered various drinks and were all very pleased. As expected they asked if we had room for desert and we answered no way haha. However, when they brought the bill they gave a dessert to share...on the house. Loved it! Great prices. Great service. Great food.

My first time here with my boyfriend, we checked it out hungry and left in a food coma state. My boyfriend ordered some cheese truffle fries that were really good, he ordered the jalepeno egg burger medium and it came more rare than anything but he loved it anyway. I ordered the cowboy burger which was so freaking good, i ordered it medium well and just like my boyfriends burger it came out more rare than anything but oh well it was good. I also substituted the fries for the honey cinnamon sweet potato fries which were perfect!! I did order a drink called the Rosemary ruby red i think and the rosemary is extremely strong.. it felt like i was drinking an alcoholic plant.. i didnt like it but i didnt want to waste a $10 drink so i drank it anyway. The prices are a little high but its indian wells so i get it, its overall a great place to eat!

After leaving a thumbs down YELP a manager reached out to me with concern. She asked me what my experience was like. At the end of the conversation she offered and sent a $25.00 gift card to me in the mail. After giving it much thought I took my daughters in to the same location and I have to say that this time around the experience was on point Food, service cleanliness were all on point!

Didn't eat. When the bartender saw us, she took her time coming over to seat us and acted like she hated being there. No smile, no personality. We ordered a beer while looking at the menu. Nothing looked good. Beer took forever to arrive, we almost left without the beer. Drank the beer and moved on. I just revised my review based on a response from the restaurant. When the management cares enough to respond then you know you may have just hit it on a bad day. I've moved away, but if I was still in the area, I would give them a second chance. Changed to 4 stars because the establishment reached out to me. Based on their reviews, I must have hit it on an off day.

Our relatives strongly recommended Eureka so we had to go--otherwise it would have flown under our "restaurant radar." Eureka earns a 5-star rating because they are doing everything right, and they run a restaurant exactly as I would if I was to open a Burger place: 1. Hand cut fresh fries! [Most places take the easy street and order em pre-cut frozen.] We don't waste time ordering frozen fries and it's the sign of lazyness in restaurant operations and weakness in other dishes. 2. Hormone and Antibiotic Free Beef! Ask your burger place where they get their beef from? 3. Charbroiled! Who wants a burger dripping with grease soaking the bun? Charbroiled allows the fat to drip off and allows you to taste the great beef flavor. 4. Homemade Buns! Who wants a day or week old bun with preservatives? 5. Great Taste! We were craving another one the next day. 6. Under $10.00 for a high quality large Burger and fresh cut Fries!=Very Good Value. 7. Friendly Efficient Fast Service. We are less concerned with service than the food quality when dining out, but its great when you have both. 8. Very good KALE SALAD! A burger place with a Kale Salad!?!? Have you ever? That was my secret idea! And we had to try it--ALL HALE THE KALE! Other mentions on the menu--maybe next time: Wild Salmon. Wish List 1: Do what no other restaurant in the United States has attempted and serve up Fresh Cut Sweet Potato Fries--they all bring em in frozen--we never order frozen. Wish List 2: Shiner Bock Beer from Texass-some of the best. Wish List 3: Gluten Free Hamburger Buns. I would look for Eureka to have wild success and rapid expansion going forward--they have the right formula going. If I were a restaurant investor, I would be placing my money here.

Always looking for a good burger. We found it! We were hoping that the place was also kid friendly and it was. The staff was great and efficient. We'll be back to Eureka for sure.

Sat at the bar, had a jalepeno burger (recommend by bartender over the Napa burger) with onion rings and a Bells Two Hearted Ale (very hard to find beer in California). Burger was excellent, cooked perfectly and the onion rings were spectacular. Nice setting, good customer service, very tasty food. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that there aren't enough onion rings on a plate (I had 4; they're thick but still, I would have liked 2-3 more). I'll go back when I'm in town again.

Eureka has been open a couple of years now and one of our favorite servers in the valley is working there. She convinced us to give it another try. Things have vastly improved. The manager at lunch seems to be on top of everything-she's in the kitchen working the line when needed, cleaning tables, seating people, chatting, being friendly. She's doing all the things that make for a well run restaurant and a memorable visit. The service is great (at least with our own personal favorite wait person). The food comes well presented and hot. The burgers are really good. The noise level can be a little challenging. The inside space of the restaurant is small, compared to the outside space.

I am never disappointed in this place. My fiancé and I eat here whenever we have a little going out money. It is great to eat at places where you can tell that the kitchen staff takes real pride in how the food looks and tastes. I really thought I had left a 5 star review a long time ago, but just decided to check. This is the best burger in the desert and happy hour is 2-5 every day, do yourself a favor and check it out.

First time trying this place and the employees are so nice. But im just in awe of how good the burger I just ate was! Its hard to explain a burger that is so juicy and tasty but tastes healthy at the same time. Haha THE FRIES! Oh Lord they are amazing. Ill be back.

Incredible beer selection, all American brewed. Go 'Merica! And, the staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to offer a sample to help you decide. My personal favorite: Old Chubb - it is so delightful, and surprisingly light for a dark beer. Has a great aftertaste that will make you not want to brush your teeth that evening!

Good food for a decent price, but the service was super slow. It was freezing inside, so we sat on the patio and was pleasantly surprised that it was not too uncomfortable. I think they may have been training new servers, but this isn't the way to train them.

Great food, every time, and a good selection of craft beers. Solid kids menu and burgers that will keep you coming back! Hard to get into high season, but usually worth the wait.

4.5 Soo soo much better than counter burger or umami burger. Cleaner, less greasy food. I would venture to say it is far more "gourmet" than its counterparts. Napa and jalepano egg burgers equally well crafted and yummy. Onion rings good, fries better. Their sauces and spreads sooooo good. Salad was very good; shishito peppers I would skip. Service was fine...

Beet salad was SO good. Really innovative dish with PoP rocks sprinkled on it! (Sounds bizarre but is absolute perfection). HIGH QUALITY veggies-made me super happy! Corn dogs were good, the mustard sauce was especially yummy. First beer taps I've seen during my stay-very big plus. Waitress somewhere between friendly and surly-but overall attentive and knowledgable. Open late!!!!! Which is rare around here!

Don't blame the friendly bartender, server, computer operator for the slower than slow service today. She was overwhelmed trying to type all the orders that were raining down on her at about. 1:15. At one point, she buried her face into her hands and shook her head. I and a guy to my right who had a meeting nearby at 1:30 spent more than 5 minutes trying to get eye contact so she could bring us a bill. She was so very, very busy that she didn't see us. Earlier, I asked her if Eureka did what most Indian Wells restaurants did, give a 10% discount to locals. Her response, "no they're local, were corporate." This kid busted her butt fielding computer-driven demands with no help. So "corporate", you need to add staff. Otherwis, that competent bartender, server, computer operator will find another job and IW-based clientele will resume shopping locally. Burger was OK. Fries were cold. Price point was acceptable.

I had been meaning to come here for some time. Tried it today with Grandma on our weekly "foodie" tour. It's alright. Nothing to write home about. We split an order of the truffle / havarti fries. I love the flavor of truffles. There was a slight hint of truffle flavor...I think. I have some truffle oil at home that would kick these up a notch. Mom had the cobb salad. Very basic. A little wilted because the chicken was tossed in while it was still blazin hot. The crumbled bacon was a little more than well done. It had a slight burnt taste. I had an original Eureka burger. Nothing special. A Habit Santa Barbara cheeseburger with bacon is better. Might try them again when it's not right after they opened for the day.

Came here for the first time and enjoyed my burger. It was tasty and delicious. I did ask for mustard for my fries but that never came. If your going to ask if there's anything else needed make sure you bring what's asked. Cool spot and good food

This was the Bee's Knees! Love the atmosphere here. The beer menu is insane and so is the burger menu. Any burger you can think of (or haven't thought of) is on their menu. I'm a vegetarian, and they had a Veggie Beet Burger on the menu. But I wanted the same luxury as meat eaters have with the loads of various burgers they had on the menu. So I asked for the Jalapeño Egg Burger with the Veggie Beet patty. Man was it awesome!!! So delicious!!! I cannot wait to come back and order it again! I wish I lived in the Palm Springs, Indian Wells area because if I did, I would be here at least once a week, at minimum. The bartenders and waitresses are extremely cool and fun to chat with. Come and check it out!

My husband and I visited twice and both times- awesome dining experience. Ambience is trendy and definitely love their specialty whiskey cocktails- worth a try! Don't take chances on things like tacos, corn dog bites or Mac n cheese, just GO for a burger! We ordered ours with a tower of onion rings with this chipotle ranch sauce. Yum. Choose your hour of dining wisely because it does get busy- expect longer than a usual wait for drinks and food but we thought it was worth it!

  • Matt B.

Seriously some of the best food but the service (as i'm sitting here) is AWFUL! We waited 45 min only to accidentally have our name deleted from the list. So then we waited another 15 min (since our table was given away). (Before the end of the night, we would hear of this same thing happening to another party.). Then, the waitress took 1/2 of our drink orders and then just walked away. Then she brought two drinks at a time with minutes between each delivery. I ordered my burger medium rare and it came well done. (To her credit, she got it replaced quickly.) All in all, great food and crappy service!

Fourth time visiting this place and I still haven't made it past the appetizers. Truffle Fries, Wings, and Mac and Cheese get me every time. My guests always enjoy the burgers and say they are great. Maybe someday I will make it that far.

Go here often. I understand it's New Years Eve Day. Got there at 12:30 they slammed our server on the patio waited 25 minutes to even get the order placed. Once the order was placed it took about 45 minutes to get our food. My flat iron steak $20.00 was ice cold they forgot to put dreasing on the salad Server was too busy to come back to the table therefore, waited when he came back he took my meal. He offered me another but most of the party of 4 was done so opted for potato soup BIGGEST mistake it was terrible. Found the manager he said he knew it was a difficult day. Staff your restaurant on a holiday we are in season and your staff was scrambling. Eureka was my go to restaurant! But I'm rethinking.

Fantastic ambiance... Love the "reclaimed wood" and filament light atmosphere. Lots of tv's to watch the current games. Too hot to sit on the patio, but in the fall, would be nice to sit amongst the misters, olive trees and string-lights. Great happy hour beer and liquor selection. Can't go wrong!

This place is AMAZING! They're open till 11pm during the week which is nice since most places close early around here. Bau was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and was basically our tour guide through the menu, beer selection, and restaurant history. Love her! So a few things to die for : truffle french fries! Chicken tacos! Beer sampler! We ordered a bunch of apps and the beer sampler. Every bite exploded with flavor. The nachos have a chipotle sauce that is more sweet that spicey. The chicken tacos have this blend of pico de gallo with the chipotle sauce and the flavor makes the entire dish come together. I love fries. These fries were cooked in truffle oil and sprinkled with a sinful cheese sauce that is so delicious you can't stop eating them! The fried chicken sliders had a homemade tomato jam on them & the biscuit it comes in is made from scratch! Also!! They only serve craft beers here! It definitely adds to the character of the restaurant. The music is so chill. The design of the space was well utilized. Next time I want to sit on the patio. The lighting is dim creating a subdued abiance. The bar area was lively and they have plenty of flat screens. This place is my new favorite! You will love everything about it ...soooo inviting :)

Best burger in the valley, hands down. First time around got the fig marmalade burger and sweet potato fries with a Racer 5 IPA. Opted for the Vodka burger/onion rings and Napa burger/reg fries on subsequent visits. SO GOOD! Although the onion rings weren't my favorite, a bit subpar compared to the rest of the menu. The quality and freshness of ingredients is what really sets this place apart for me... not to mention the great beer selection. Two huge thumbs up!

My wife and I love this place. We had first tried the place a day after they opened. We still come here at least once a week. My favorite is their bison burger. I love it, also ordered the string beans for appetizers. Overall food was great, great atmosphere and prices were great. I expected an expensive burger. I know that they had just opened, but service was ok. The service got better as time went on. Still have ways to go, most of the servers looked to be right out of high school.

This place is solid. Really comfortable, cool and quality. Love the beer selection! If you can't find a beer you like here, you're just not trying. The burgers, obviously their specialty, are fantastic. My wife and I have tried most of them by now and we've loved them all. When the weather is nicer, this will be the best and coolest spot outside of Palm Springs.

I have been here three times. The second time, we waited at the greeting station far too long, and the food came late. The place was, practically, empty. The day after Thanksgiving, I sent a group of 10 people there at 4:50 p.m., and it had only a few customers seated. They were told (the inside, and outside had many vacant tables) that once a certain group, who had paid, left, they would be seated there. They waited, and waited. Then a staff person told them the group would be leaving at half time - despite there still being many vacant tables. Meanwhile, another group was wondering why they hadn't been seated. They, too, were agitated. My friends waited 50 minutes, and still no table -- despite them having paid for drinks at the bar. They ending up leaving -- but not before talking to the manager who had no idea what she was doing. There was no apology, nor any valid explanation for not seating them after arriving before 5 p.m. This is an inexcusable way to run a restaurant.

This was our second visit to Eureka Burger. We had very poor service both times. Waiters and managers standing around talking. We waited 20 minutes for beer and wine. We were never offered a second drink or our water and ice tea were never refilled. After waiting for 20 minutes the waitress decided to ask my son for his I.D. Ok, that was fine but, now we wait again. We ordered two appetizers and our entrees. The waiter asked, "Would you like the appetizers first?" Yes, we answered. Well, we got no appetizers and our dinner was served. Buns were stale and food not hot. Eureka Burger could have sold a lot more beer and wine at our table. It is a shame to see someone invest a lot of money opening a restaurant and not hiring proper people to run it. We ordered dessert and said we are going to share, the waiter brought it and left it on the table with one spoon. The problem is no one checks back. The help is standing around, where are your managers?

I keep coming back here because the burgers are so delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. It's cute, the out door patio is lovely, the food fantastic, and the service great! The food is worth the wait as it is made fresh to order. I give it FIVE STARS! So, if you are in need of a big juicy healthy burger this is the place to be!

Love Eureka! I highly recommend you try the nachos and the burgers. You can get any burger wrapped with a tortilla instead of a bun and it is very good. They have the best beer on tap and the bartenders are very friendly. Had a great beer tasting with friends a few nights ago and couldn't be happier.

This place would be a great spot for Newport Beach or San Diego downtown. But I don't see a bright future for them in the desert. Atmosphere is very chick and hippie. Food selection is limited , first time I tried a burger. It was not bad. But how can you go wrong with a burger? Second time I had some kale salad and was much better than having the burger. Interesting selection of beers, Very friendly service. Victoria is very nice and she took good care of us .

Alright so I gave the place another shot. (*Thanks to the GM for a $15 gift cert.) The Good- I have to say the staff was different. Very polite and eager to please. My lady friend and I were seated quickly on the patio. Definitely a great patio to sit and enjoy. Our server (never caught her name but the check said "Bou") was really sweet. I ordered the Sour, which is Bourbon, Citrus juices and egg whites. It was the star of the show in my opinion. My friend loved their Fried Chicken Sliders. (Fried chicken in between 2 biscuits). The manager checked on us frequently, which was a nice touch. The Not so Good- Well, as much as our server was being a rockstar handling 2 large tables (at least 10 people each) and a couple of 2/4 tops, this poor girl was doing EVERYTHING BY HER SELF, No busser. A good restaurant cannot expect to give good service if you stretch the staff thin. We saw the manager more than we saw her, honestly. She was doing the best she could, which I totally understand. But if you're too busy to refill water at least once, you need some extra help. I tried the Chicken Saltimbocca and I ate most of it because I was hungry but I definitely will not order it again. It was a bit rubbery and just not what you expect, especially how the menu describes it. Stick with the burgers. One last thing, the bathroom. They need to have someone checking the bathroom every 30 minutes to an hour. I walked into a disaster.. First stall had paper towels on the floor and literally (not over exaggerating) a mountain of paper towels were in & coming out of the toilet. Naturally I go into the second stall, the toilet paper dispenser was open and the door was hanging down showing 2 empty toilet paper rolls and other krud on the floor. I had to use a paper towel on myself and uh,that wasn't fun. I told the first server I saw and she looked relatively disconcerted but said she would get on it. I know this stuff happens, but it was bad enough to mention and hopefully never happens again. Ultimately, I like the place for its aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The food is good. The service is better. The Sour is what I'm coming back for.

UPDATE: So I gave Eureka a 3rd try and this time the service was amazing, and the food was still awesome. Ordered several things but my favorite were the fish tacos and the butterscotch caramel pudding with sea salt for dessert was the best I've ever had (simply divine) and a great portion as well. Love the atmosphere on the patio. Planning to go back again soon.

They remodeled a large restaurant but all the new seating area is outside. What were they thinking? Inside is a small bar, three booths and some tables. ?? Don't think they will make it with a mostly burgers and sandwich menu for lunch AND dinner. Appetizers are mostly of deep fired variety.

We were very pleasantly surprised especially after reading some of the negative Yelp reviews. I had a burger and my wife had salmon. She had salmon a few nights before at Mitch's and thought this was better. The Eureka burger really hit the spot. The desert area has a lot of elderly people who have retired there so it was nice to see a very eclectic crowd there.

I wanted to love this place. About three years ago I went to the San Diego location and absolutely loved it. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. So as soon as I heard one was opening in my hometown I figured hey this will be great! We arrived at the restaurant and the hostess was aloof and seemed as though she was not really there. When our server arrived we were greeted pretty cold and it seemed as though we were interrupting her day by being at her table. She had to be asked multiple times for the same things and never seemed to want to be there. We enjoyed the food but the service makes us not want to go back.

Can't quite put my finger on it. LOVED Eureka in Redlands. Surprised that in the upscale setting of IW service was so poor! No hostess for several minutes, stood awkwardly not sure what to do! Seated on the lovely patio. Really nice, except for the excruciatingly uncomfortable chairs. Love Hangar 24 Orange wheat, when properly chilled. I would rather have it in a bottle, cold, instead of tepid in a glass. Never saw same server twice. Three servers stopped at our table to ask if anyone had taken our food order. Fourth one finally took it! Water never refilled. Fig burger delicious. Loved the hot, honey, sweet potato fries. Would come back for the food if I didn't have to endure the painful chairs and disorganized, fragmented service. Was hoping for better, but it was just OK.

So, we took the family back after a few months sabbatical because the children were asking to go. I'm glad because it turned out to be a much better experience sort of -we enjoyed the food;however, our waiter forgot to bring out our salads and appetizers, but they were very gracious enough to comp one appetizer when all food came out at one time and they realized they did not serve the appetizers prior. Whatever. It's more of a trend in the desert, the service is always weak, but the food is always good. It's either the lack of strong management or the lack of professionalism in the service industry.

food is Great!! happy hour is fab - the fried chicken sandwich is enough for 2 people. atmosphere is very nice - and if you like whiskey, OMGOSH - this is whiskey heaven. dress casual to nice - the burgers are, of course, awesome, as are the fries. pretty much all of the food is just delicious! i would think that the only thing they need to consider adding is more of a selection of desserts - maybe whiskey cake?

Birthday lunch here was not exactly what I expected. Don't get me wrong, the service was great and the wait was minimal for a Friday afternoon. Being a fan of the Redlands spot and their bison burger, I had to try it here. Since I brought it up, the bison burger was where I had issues. The first thing I did after picking up the sandwhich was squeeze a crap load of sweet sauce from the top part of the bun. Not only was both buns just drenched in butter, they were completely dunked in sweet sauce. Their sweet sauce was basically sugar sauce. The buns had no integrity to them at all, just a bunch of mush. I had to have them take it back and give me just buns and even then it was drenched in butter. I know what you're thinking this is 'merican food and that's how it is. Yes however the bison burger at the one in Redlands, which I've had on more than one ocasion was nothing like this. Thank goodness I got the replacement quickly and a nice birthday ice cream to boot.

I really really like Eureka, except that it is too far away from my house ;) No, really, the have a great selection of beer and their whiskey cocktails are delish. The apps are pretty weak in terms of size and flavor so skip them and opt for an extra drink instead. I have only had burgers as my entree. The bone marrow burger is wonderful. The fig burger is even better. I had intended on getting a fig burger this last time but apparently fig sounds like egg (do they have an egg burger?) so they accidentally brought me a jalapeno burger with egg. It looked delicious and I really should have just shut up and eaten it but I wanted so badly to experience the Fig burger nirvana again... Alas, it was not to be. When they brought out the correct burger they must have grabbed someone else's patty and it was cooked all the way through. If you are a person who orders their burgers medium rare, expecting them to be pink, this error crushes your soul through and through. But everyone makes mistakes and it was too late to ask for another burger again. Overall I enjoy Eureka and the place has been very happening the 3 times I have been. I would go back. (Side note: if you order the onion ring upgrade with your burger, you only get 2 or maybe 3 rings; opt for the sweet potato fries instead.)

Reading reviews, seems they all hit the same note. For me too. Burger quite tasty. Fries cold! Service horrible. FIRST TIME WAS SPOT-ON.... The subsequent 6/7 times, service is non existent, cold fries, soggy fries, meh-service, no service, lack lustre chicken sandwich.....it has the potential to be a cool great place. I think it needs a little more management driven attention to detail. I've been back many times since and grown to love the place. fries I honestly think are hit n miss. I ordered truffle fries and they were great. the guy next to me saw mine and ordered some and sent them back saying they were over cooked. seems strange but I like these guys. burgers great. watermelon salad great-beer great.

I came here with my family to check out the new restaurant in town. The size of the restaurant was large enough, beautiful outdoor patio that we chose to sit in (with misters and fans) even though it was well over 100 degrees outside. It wasn't so bad being in the heat with their outdoor cooling system, and lots of iced water. The girls wear t-shirts about alcohol and friskiness, which.. I guess makes for ice breakers but its rather tacky. Especially since most the girls serving tables and drinks are quite young... I know if it had been me at 19 there's no way I would've found the humor in it.. The food was ok. I ordered duck sausage which might've been good but it was covered in yellow cheese. Yellow cheese shouldn't be covered on anything. I think it took this contemporary dish and aged it 30 years. The fries were good and salty. The caramelized fig burger tasted as it should, and the sweet potato fries were delicious. The fish tacos were also pretty decent, although it was noted it could be better if instead of tiny pieces of fish, they were bigger chunks. No need to precut food for the bigger folk.. All in all the food was all around ok, but nothing to get excited about. We didn't drink so I suppose we were bad customers in that sense. I could see how the food might be considered amazing if we had already drank a ton and had drunken munchies...

The place has a nice vibe. The service was very good throughout our meal. I had the grilled Caesar, which was strong (as I like it) and very tasty. We shared the corn dogs and the bruschetta and were please with those choices. My burger was excellent, with perfect texture and flavor. We also order onion rings and sweet potato fries to complement the standard fries. The latter was my favorite, and the dipping sauce for the rings went well with all of it. Others in our party liked the dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries most. A very good meal. Hard for me to rate higher than 4 for burgers at a sit-down restaurant, but I strongly considered it.

Visited eureka again with my husband and daughter tonight. The food was so much better than our previous visits. I had the jalapeno egg burger naked with turkey and a side salad, my husband had the napa burger with onion rings and my daughter who is 19 months had the grilled cheese with french fries. I loved my burger. It had just the right amount of spicyness to it. My husband finally had a burger cooked medium and not well done. He was very happy. My daughter lovesd the french fries and the waitress was kind enough to bring a little fruit and a slice of avocado with her meal. The service was great. We requested that outr daughters food be brought out first and we were able to feed her first so we could somewhat enjoy our food when it arrived. Eating out with a toddler is challenging. Finding ways to entertain them for an hour is difficult. She did love playing with the fountain near the entrance (as did other children while we were there). We will definitely be going back. The beer selection is great. I had a blonde ale and my husband had the orange wheat.

Stumbled across this new spot as we were trolling around town looking for something different. It's located right on hwy 111 in Indian wells, not too hard to spot from the main drag. Someone told me they just opened about a week ago so with any new establishment kinks need to be worked out and for this establishment that would be service. It wasn't bad per say but the waiters were kinda all over the place, and I am sure that with experience, confidence and finding the right team it will be fine in a few months. Decor wise it's very clean and modern. They have a decent sized bar, and a huge outdoor patio with TV's, fans and misters for those hot days. Food was solid - not amazing but good! We tried a little of everything - some things better than others. We ordered Tempura Blue Lake Green Beans Garden blue lake green beans tempura, served with salsa romesco, grilled salted marcona almonds and lightly grated parmesan cheese. 7.95 The aioli served with it needs a little kick to it. The green beans tasted fresh and still had that fresh crisp to it. they were good and i would order them again. Fried chicken sliders - these little guys were served on biscuits, such a great concept the biscuits should be a little more buttery, they were kinda bland. But the chicken was good and the coleslaw that came on top Crab cake sliders - I didn't try them but everyone else seemed to enjoy them Lollipop Corn Dogs (5x) All natural polish sausage hand-breaded in a sweet cornbatter served with a spicy porter mustard sauce, ketchup and a cheddar I.P.A. sauce. 7.50 The corndogs alone were great but the side sauces were lacking. The cheddar I.P.A was good but the spicy porter mustard was more of a aioli than a mustard. I didn't even know it was a mustard sauce when I dipped it in, it was so bland. And I had the jalapeño egg bacon cheeseburger which was insane. Not too spicy, but perfect! Thick cut bacon, sunny side up egg perfectly cooked hamburger patty on a yummy bun. Everyone else had their traditional cheeseburger and they all enjoyed it. Bloody Mary's were solid - came garnished with bacon. They were def on the spicy side but good! One of the best in the desert! We will be back

We love this place. They make great cocktails, it's obvious that the chef makes food he would want to eat (nothing worse than uninspired food), good happy hour, too. My husband and I have dined there at least a dozen times since they opened with friends and family and have yet to see anyone less than happy with food & service here.

I was recommended this place by my good friend and it was everything he described It to be. I even trusted his opinion well enough to have my birthday dinner here as my first experience. The first thing I noticed was the comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the overall vibe was very friendly. The thing I liked most and what makes them very unique is that they are distinct in promoting small businesses and serve a wide range of American made micro distillery spirits and have a solid list of craft beers to choose from! They truly keep it local! I ordered the Jalepeno Egg Burger and can honestly say I haven't had a burger that mouth watering in a very long time! Being someone who generally eats very healthy the burger's here are made from Eco friendly beef and didn't leave me feeling like a gluten afterwards. I have to say this was a very exceptional cheat meal and I'm glad it was here. My grandmother of 90yrs raved all the way to the car of how great of a restaurant and atmosphere there is here, so with that I can truly say Eureka is the perfect place for people of all ages to enjoy a delicious meal and a lively ambience. If your looking for a great place to go with family and friends this is a place that you definitely have to experience! I am undoubtedly going to return here and acquaint myself with more of what they have to offer!

This is a modestly priced restaurant with an incredible selection of craft beers. My wife and I have been here twice and it's best to go during happy hours, I think they have one of the best HH menus in the desert. The last time we were there I had a Burger....who's name I can't remember right now. It was like a Santa Monica Burger or some Cali city. All I know is it had Havarti cheese and pesto on it, and it was AMAZEBALLS!!!

I love the Eureka in La Jolla and in Irvine, those two locations really set the standard for quality food and service. Im bummed to say that the service out here in Indian Wells was absolutely horrible. The restaurant was half empty and it still took over 20 minutes for our party to get drinks. Our food came out at the same time, which blows my mind. I'll be avoiding this location from here on out.

Perhaps THE place in the desert with the absolute worst service ever! Sat at the bar around 2, and it was not by any means busy. Waited for at least 10 minutes for the bartender to at least acknowledge us. We were still deciding if we wanted to have a cocktail/beer so we asked for waters. At least another 10 minutes to get the waters! The bartender was not busy - they were just standing and talking to the servers at the well. We eventually get our waters and then we were ready to order. I'm in the industry - she asked our order and did not go to the computer to put it in. I kid you not, 5 minutes later she's at the computer, asking us AGAIN what we wanted to order. I will not go back to this restaurant. The food was good, but the service was the most horrible thing I have ever experienced.

Having been here on 5 separate occasions and at different times with different groups, figured it was time to write a review. Positive: Food is pretty good. Excellent beer and bourbon selection. Great ambience and love the decorating. Cons: SERVICE...I don't get it. Every time we have been, the service is mediocre at best. Monday night was one of the worst. Was celebrating a birthday with another couple, enjoyed the bar and bought 2nd most expensive bottle of wine at the recommendation of the bartender (who we later learned was the manager)...moved to a table and waited...and waited...and waited...and waited. Was told they would be right back by the server...40 minutes later had to ask the hostess to send her out. Our food came out rare when ordered medium...had to send half of the items back. This was 1.5 hours after we had bought the wine, so we had nothing left to drink with our meals and when we asked to speak to the manager, we explained all of this...he mumbled he would take care the food that was mis-prepared and then our food came back and we were charged for everything but one item. This place has SO.MUCH.POTENTIAL! Seriously...but every single person (about 7 of them) I have talked to about this in the past 36 hours has said the same thing...good food, cool place, spotty service. I'm not picky; all of us are in the industry...we understand being overwhelmed...but something about this place is above and beyond the typical overwhelmed, understaffed establishment...pooled tips? I don't know... Would love to try again, but will probably think twice about starting our night there in the future.

The food here is great. Simple burgers are transformed into works of art! The best thing about this store (and chain in general) is the beer selection!

This place is hit-or-miss. I'm a huge fan of the beer selection and I like how they have the rotating handles. The bartender guy with the retro mustache is always really friendly and insightful when asking about drinks/beers. I'll give quick accounts of three visits: 1: Sat in a booth, our server was a little absent and it was hard to find her. We had Hemingways for drinks and the hot dog lollipops. The food and drinks were good. Four stars 2: Sat outside, and had the roasted beet salad with watermelon pop rocks. The salad was great, we had also ordered shishito peppers which were bland (the pepper itself), our server gladly took it off as she agreed that sometimes they do get a bleh batch. 5 stars 3: This was last Thursday, we get there just in time (the hippies for Coachella poured in minutes after we showed up). We sat at the bar and had our first round of drinks immediately. I had the chicken tacos which are always a favorite for me. Then as I mentioned, it got packed. Our bartender disappeared to the other side of the bar to chat up some girls. We asked one of the other guys to order food/drinks, and then our bartender came back to take the order only to wait 10 min for our second round of drinks (which we got after asking the other bartender for). The food took about 20 min and was warm...but we were starving so we ate. The pork sandwich was good, but it would've been amazing hot. The beet salad was overdressed, the ingredients are always fresh though. It was off-putting that our bartender ignored our side of the bar but would get annoyed if we ordered through another person. 1.5 stars. I'll probably update this as I hope this last time was an anomaly.

This place was hard to find! Especially since I'm not from the area and there were no signs :( anyways, I came to have dinner with a friend after work a week or so ago. Service was ok....they got my friend's order wrong even though the waitress repeated our orders before she left. we had to wait longer for them to bring out the correct food. The hostess and waitresses were friendly and the food was pretty good. I ordered the jalapeno egg burger cooked medium rare and it also came with a side of fries. The egg added a nice flavor to the burger and the jalepenos weren't too spicy. The fries were also pretty good :) one thing I didn't like was that the botton of the burger bun became kind of soggy pretty quickly... however, I still ate the whole burger plus all the fries because I'm a fatty like that :)

Hubs and I had a very good dinner at Eureka! We started with the kale salad which had thinly sliced Parmesan cheese, walnuts and craisins tossed with a delicious, light vinaigrette. We ordered two entrees, the salmon came with a sautéed medley of veggies that included asparagus, carrots, beets, fresh and delicious! We also ordered the flat ironed steak, perfectly cooked medium rare, sliced on a bed of kale sautéed with mushrooms! Steak also came with delicious fries. I also had a glass of Chalk Hill Sauvignon Blanc. We were warmly greeted by the host, seated in five minutes and our server gave us great service. A very satisfying experience!

It was OK. Service was prompt and attentive. Menu looked OK, nothing special. We ordered the sliced pork sandwich and flatiron steak. Both "mains" were good, but the sides sucked! The sauteed kale & mushroom was a nice contrast to the steak (small for $20), but 1/2 way through it, the salt in the vegetables surfaced! and it was so overpowering, more and more towards the end. The sliced pork sandwich is good with some carrots mixed in. BUT (you knew there's a BUT in there!) the sweet potato fries (for an extra$1.50) had honey drizzled over it. HONEY? on SWEET potato fries? Which part of sweet did they not understand? I had to wipe off the honey before I could eat the fries. Another friend has raved about their watermelon salad though. We should have listened to her. Music was loud, which added to our headaches.

I'm kind of torn about this place. I think it has a lot of potential. The food is good and the burgers are tasty. The service is somewhat lacking. It's almost a server by committee but the problem with that is the assumption you've been asked if you needed something by one server and to stop from over-asking you, you don't ask enough...which was what happened in my case. Took forever just to get a drink order in and when the food arrived, I didn't see my server again or get asked if I needed a refill, because I did, for almost the entire time. And I don't know about you, but eating good food only goes so far when you need to wash it all down with a beverage.

My wife and I ate there for Valentine's Day and I ordered the Original Eureka burger and she had the Jalepeno Egg burger. Both were sumptuous, but what really stood out to me was the way the service was handled for the beers. I ordered a sampler, of sorts, of 4 or 5 different beers in smaller amounts to experience the different tastes and our main waitress gave a recommendation for the order they should be tasted. Another waitress, clearly acting in a management role, came to our table and asked how everything was and I gave a brief review of my thoughts on the beers at that point. The head waitress had a different opinion on which beers should be tasted in a particular order, but she articulated that it was only due to what I was eating and was able to explain it in a way that was far superior to my own beer-drinking knowledge (going on 22 years). I should add that both waitresses were quite young, so it was either through training or superior hiring that this was possible. I am a bit of a lightweight, though, and was feeling a bit sloshed after finishing most of them, so I did not finish even a drop of the last beer. The head waitress took the beers off my tab in case I was not satisfied with them or the advice I had been given earlier. I slurred my way into explaining it was all about my state, not that of the beers, but when she gave me the check those beers were not there. God bless this place.

We sat on the patio, which as other reviewers mentioned had a very nice ambience. The cover was pulled back to allow patrons to enjoy a lovely desert star filled sky. The lighting & fountain added to the pleasant atmosphere. Inside the restaurant, there is a large bar w/ many specialized beers & whiskey to choose from. There are also many TV screens above the bar, for the sports enthusiasts. Naturally, hubby & I went for the burgers. I decided to try the fig burger w/ the melted goat cheese & arugala. It did not disappoint! The subtle sweetness of the fig marmalade against the savory cheese & meat were incredible! My only complaint was that I asked for med well, & the burger was more on the med rare side. I did not send it back, as it tasted great despite not being grilled long enough. Overall, we enjoyed our meal & beers on a nice breezy night in the desert. We will definitely return. Next time, I might try the bone marrow burger!!

yum!!! a totally satisfying burger and even more satisfying appetizers. I'd suggest coming early (before 6pm I believe) to catch the happy hour prices on all the very yummy appetizers. We asked to sit outside by the fountain and were pleasantly accommodated. We ordered the fig burger, the riblets, the corndog, and the chicken sliders and those riblets mmmmm! I'm not a huge fan of the buffalo sauce, I'd much rather it was some kinda aioli or bbq or mustardy something even but still sooooo good. I loved the fries and the burger was textural and creamy and meaty and salty and sweet. overall an amazing meal and I'd gladly come back again if we're ever in the area again. Next time, I'd want to try the jalapeno egg burger though.

If you have a hankering for a burger whether it be turkey or beef this is definitely your place. Their bloody Mary's are exceptional and don't miss out on their nachos. If you want to eat a little healthier we enjoyed their Cobb salad. We particularly like the fried egg burger with jalapenos! Say hi to Paul who is the manager extraordinaire

A nice trendy hipster-ish place that is opened late. Was looking for a place to grab a late dinner and just picked this spot. Was surprised with how nice and new the restaurant was. They have indoor and outdoor seating, live music, and happy hour after 9pm- SCORE! We got a bunch of appetizers from the HH menu and it was ok, I ended up with a salad since I needed some roughage in the desert and that was actually really good and refreshing. Very happy with this place, great spot to come at night, chill, and have drinks.

My FAVORITE burger EVER is the fig burger!!! If you don't like goat cheese this is not the burger for you but, whoever created the fig burger is brilliant! Great combination of flavors. I know it sounds crazy but, it has a spread of fig jam on the bun, goat cheese, arugula and bacon. Just awesome! If you like truffles You MUST order the truffle fries! They are AMAZING! Fresh-cut french fried potatoes that are tossed in a truffle sauce and topped with green onions and sea salt absolutely the BEST! The steamed clams are great. The western burger is the next best burger, in my opinion, on the menu. It's topped with crispy onion strings and bacon. Not really familiar with anything else on the menu other than the burgers. This is truly a great burger place. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries as well they have a drizzle of either honey or maple syrup and her dusted with a little bit of cinnamon. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The onion rings are very good as well they are large and made with super sweet onions. If you enjoy a good burger definitely give this place a try!

We love Eureka, my family and I come here often and enjoy our meal and service here. But this time was different, and we are not sure if we will come back. First off, the staff seems to be different. By different I mean they don't care. We got to the restaurant and were really excited to eat, we were seated by a friendly host (the host is the reason why this review got two stars) seems like the restaurant was very understaffed. The manager (small woman with glasses) came to our table and let us know her staff was busy and she was going to take our drink order, she brought us our Arnold palmers and said her staff was still busy so she was going to take our orders. We ordered and received our food but never were checked on again. We ran out of drinks so I waited for someone to come by who never did. I got up and asked the host for our server or someone who could fill our drinks. No one ever came. Other tables around ours were being helped but we never were. When we finished our meal and were waiting for our check we spotted the manager and she said she was sorry and was cooking in the kitchen? What? Really? I probably won't go back due to the staff.

In town on business and popped in here based on reviews. Ordered the The Original Eureka and fries. My friend ordered the Caesar salad W/ Chicken. Service was prompt and the burger cooked to order. My friends salad and the produce on my burger was very fresh and his salad was loaded with chicken. My only complaint was the fries. While cooked perfect where completely ruined due to other than half a dozen or so I would need a fork to eat the rest, they were that small. When mentioned it to the manager at the end of the meal he said he was sorry but they are hand cut therefore sometimes short. He offered to remake them and I declined since I was already done with the burger by then. Kinda funny since most of the places I eat have hand cut fries and it's never been an issue. I think i was more annoyed at the excuse than the short fries.

Not all that great, like i though it was going to be service was fairly poor and bergers are nothing impressive if anything pretty greasy and the fries seemed old. Beer was ok blond ale not to bad i would say equal to 5 guys bergers

I came here with a group of friends and boy, am i glad that we did! The servers were very nice and accommodating. They have a pretty good selection of beers and drinks. I think I got the Orange Wheat, it was decent. However, I preferred the Blonde over the Orange. My friend also ordered an Old Fashion and it was pretty damn good. I got the blue burger with sweet potato fries. I asked for arugula in my burger (LOL, that's my attempt at being healthy). I asked for my burger to be cooked medium-rare. The burger was perfect in every way. It was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the sauteed mushrooms went so well with the burger. It was delicious and I scarfed it down like a starved child. The hickory sweet potato fries are addicting. That hint of sweetness sends the sweet potato fries over the edge. Although, i think it would have been nicer if the sweet potatoes were a little more crisp on the outside. I'm a stickler when it comes to texture, but flavor-wise it was amazing. I cleaned my plate and I was happy. I left the restaurant with a food baby (3rd trimester). It was beautiful.

I was in town for the night and decided to try here as it was closest to my hotel. I ordered a sampling of the beer, and one of the burgers. The four small glasses of beer I tried were all great, but my date and I also ordered nachos to split before the meal. The nachos arrived about 30 seconds after the entrees, which the waitstaff immediately noticed, and profusely apologized for. Then the manager came and did the same. After assuring him it was not a problem at all, he then ordered me another beer sampler, with 4 he recommended (all California craft beers, and all great). We chatted about our kids, and at the end of the meal, he informed me that the nachos, and 2nd order of the beer sampler were comped. Small mistakes happen, and we weren't even upset in the least, but this manager, and the waiters, went above and beyond. And on top of that, the beer and food were great, and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place.

An improptu trip by the desert is not fun when the weather sucks as it did today. I found out that being up here in the midle of summer and having to go through some rain only leads to humidity that sucks. Luckily I found a familiar face at Eureka. I was very surprised to be greeted by Paul who remembered me from a couple months back (who also remembered how much I liked Old Chub by Oskar Blues). With the weather being the way it is I asked if he could recommend something ligther and he poured me a Maui Blonde. That made my day and not to mention that desert was Buffalo Trace on the rocks!!!!!

I have eaten here three times in the past couple of months. Each time the food is very good. Bison burger is devine and sweet potato fries are wonderful. Tortilla burger is great if you don't like big hamburger buns. They are seriously lacking in service. All 3 times, we had to search our waitress out when ready to leave since I wanted to order a carry out burger. She never came back to ask how anything was or refill Iced Tea. (yes, happened all 3 times) I also think it's the job of the server to tell you that the side salad you asked for in place of fries is $1.25 additional. Nope - never even mentioned it. Hope the management steps it up with service because it's a very cute place and the food is wonderful Update: I would downgrade my review to a 2. The manager had sent me a message after my review and offered to send new a gift card to try them again. Card never arrived, and I even sent a follow up message. I'll never go back here.

Everything at this place was pretty good. I went with a few friends and we pretty much ate the entire menu. Afterwards we were all so stuffed that I almost puked. I tried a couple of the IPAs here, which were all pretty good as well. We had several of the appetizers since it was a part of the happy hour specials. Fries, onion rings, nachos, etc. I had the burger with the blue cheese and mushroom, medium rare of course. So yummy! The decor was very modern and cool. Not sure if there is anything around in the vicinity to do, but definitely a solid place to eat. The wait staff here was really good and attentive and not to mention cute as hell. They had a live musician for a while, very classy ambiance.

Eureka, you always seem to be a hit or miss.. When your food is consistent, I love coming here and eating.. 2/3 times have been terrible here and it's a shame because I love your food when you are cooking it properly!! Think it's time I scratch you off of the list of restaurants I frequent.. Quality control is something your BOH should really look into...

Food AMAZING - service Okay. Had to wait a while for our food but it was worth the wait. Quality of food is exceptional. Had the watermelon salad and it was refreshing and filling at the same time. Flavor profile of sweet watermelon against saltines ob feta is an amazing combination. Flat iron steak with chimichurri was also a hit. Chimichurri has a slight kick but worth mentioning. Roasted kale was delicious and added a depth of flavor to the steak. Fries are fresh and onion rings light and airy. Neither tastes or feels greasy. Overall GREAT FOOD!!! Will definitely be coming back to try the famous burgers and have the watermelon salad again.

Came here for lunch and found the place on yelp, 100% of the time that's how I find places when I travel, read reviews and for sure shop by the photos and that's why I tried the corn dog lolly pops which is a fun idea. I do want to talk with the chef about the hot dogs being salty. The three dipping, ranch, ketchup and some mustard I didn't like. I would suggest yellow mustard, ketchup as is and chipotle sauce or honey mustard. I mixed all three trying to catch that flavor and the salt taste was way to much. I also had the beet salad and smiled when I saw that they used pop rocks, back in Paris two years ago I had something similar but they used culinary popping candy. It's fun and I use these on my menu, but anyways that was good. As for the Bloody Mary is was spicy as hell and was bummed when it was a pre-mix, but I get it as a bar and the way the place is ran, you do what you got to do! Hope this review is helpful.

We have one of these in Claremont and didn't even know there was one out here and decided to come here on our way to another place farther out. I ordered the fig burger and it was good but I just don't like the lettuce crap they put on it, I don't know if its arugula or what but it don't taste good. I cant wait to try the whiskey flight.

We ate here two nights in a row. The second night was because State Fare Bar and Kitchen (Ritz-Carlton) was completely disappointing. Food is fresh and comes quickly. The dishes with vinaigrettes we light on flavor but portions were good size. Burgers were outstanding. Salmon was cooked perfectly at medium rare per request. Service is good, minus the wait, both nights for the check. Prices were incredibly reasonable. Ambience is great and it's good for kids too. It's our new fave.

Had great time here. The service was perfect and very attentive. The marrow burger and chicken wings were perfect. I will be coming back when in the area.

great service, good prices for the quality, and amazing beer selection. can't wait to go back. we had the jalapeno egg burger and steamed clams... i can't stop talking about how good the clams were for being a burger place. burger was on point!

Went for the first time tonight and was terribly disappointed. Our server was very nice but service overall was slow. Of the five meals ordered, only two of us enjoyed their meal--the two who ordered burgers, one of which had to be sent back as it was ordered med well but came out barely medium. My pork sandwich was just plain bad--didn't taste anything but vinegary pickles and mustard seeds. Drinks were no better. Long wait to get them and not tasty. The margaritas are way too acidic. It's great to use fresh lime or lemons, and you can tell it's fresh juice, but unfortunately that's all you taste. On a positive note, the butterscotch rum pudding was very good. That is something I would order again if I were to return, but I don't plan on doing that again anytime soon--especially not with a tab of $145 without tip.

Came on a Friday during happy hour, pretty slow not too busy. Waitress was super nice but didn't introduce herself so we didn't catch her name. Wasn't too impressed with the menu. Ordered an appetizer which came relatively fast which was good because it took forever to get our actual meal. All in all I probably wouldn't come back. Gave it a try though!

We usually dine in (and love it) but couldn't make it out this time around so we had to order "carry out." I was worried the food wouldn't be the same at home as it is in the restaurant but was relieved to find out that the quality persists! I had an Eureka original with cheddar and my husband had a Fresno Fig Burger. They were delicious and packaged neatly. The employee who took my order over the phone was friendly and professional as well. We were more than satisfied.

We love Eureka burger! After going to the one in SLO (during a work trip), I was delighted to see that one was opening in the desert. Great beer (Drake's 1500 and Manifesto Wit), great food, great service. I love getting their veggie burger and adding bacon (I'm pretty twisted), and I also love their 80's style taco salad. Husband loves the bison burger, while our daughter loves the corndog lollipops. They do have larger booths if you want to go out with friends, we've been a few times with friends (who love the whiskey selection).

Could've been a little more rare, other then that, it was exactly what I wanted to eat. I really liked their bar even tho it was too busy so I had to get a booth. Boo was our server and she was great.

The food here was unique and awesome for the neighborhood I live in. The beers and spirits available gave other restaurants around a run for their money. Server was attentive and kept drinks full. Onion rings and sweet potato fries were delicious but the truffle cheese fries were a bit soggy, But tasty nonetheless.

My second trip here. Had the Bison Burger, and I must admit it was very good. Bison is very juicy and tasty, just like Venison. It tasted like free-range, organic grassfed beef. However, it is not an overly large burger for the price paid($15.50). In all honesty - if you have a "manly" appetite....the small, pricey burgers simply isn't gonna cut it. If you don't want the wait for indoor seating - opt for the spacious and much cooler patio....which is actually larger than their dining room.

Eureka! has earned their stripes with us again. The food is consistently good and prepared the same way each time and the staff works well as a unit, everyone pulling their weight. It's always a treat to get service from Kevin the bartender...a genuinely nice guy that's well versed in beer and all things bar-related, and then some. Thanks Eureka! for getting the ship back on course, we appreciate it and will keep returning. Cheers!

Awesome atmosphere when I went there was live music. It was very peaceful and to add to it the food was delicious. We had hamburgers. The fries tasted different than most it's unique flavor made them very good. Will definitely be back!!

I had such high hopes for this restaurant... but the experience did not live up. Service was great - bartenders are cute and friendly, a lot of TVs around the restaurant, fresh juices, good wine list - minus the fact that they didn't have a champagne by the bottle. However, we ordered three things and all came out wrong and had to be sent back. Watermelon Salad - Ordered with out the feta cheese though and it was served with cheese. After it was re-made, it was excellent. Bison Burger - Served almost raw. Next attempt served served without any of the toppings. End results was just ok. Fries were somewhat hot, but very soggy. Not good. Chicken sandwich - asked to add mushrooms. Instead of a chicken breast, it was little pieces of diced up chicken. Served cold and without mushrooms. Wasn't good at all. Bread/bun was soggy even after asking to have it toasted. Never seen a chicken sandwich served like late. Would not order again. Might go back for their happy hour and just get drinks and possibly try the apps, but not the food.

Unhappy with the loud music while trying to enjoy a beer tasting with friends. Also unhappy that while watching the Portland v Houston NBA game the channel was changed to local tennis. After asking to have it changed back I'm told someone else requested the change first. Apparently you need to request the channel that is already on in order to lock it in.

Visiting Palm Springs for the weekend, my husband and I found this place on Yelp. We were hesitant at first, but we tried it last night. It was fantastic. From the minute we walked into the door, to the minute we walked out... The service was really good. The servers and bartenders are very friendly and have good recommendations. Tonight is our second night in a row to come here for dinner and a drink. Great beer and whiskey selection, and the food is delicious. They even have a happy hour!

  • M A.

Good burgers, good salads and probably one of the best whiskey selections around. I had the steak/salad wrap and was impressed and also had a bite of one of the burgers and the chicken sandwich and they were really good (and it really surprised the people at the next table I did that... just kidding... I did it when they weren't looking... okay, just kidding!) The fries are average though and the help is inexperienced but the place is new and that may change for the better. A $12 burger can put you off a bit a first but there is no skimp in the quality and the atmosphere is peasant and let's face it, Indian Wells is not where you go for inexpensive food, so you will probably not mind in the end. Besides, from what I can see most people were there for the whiskey and beer anyway.

We went here two nights in a row this past weekend and were surprised that the reviews weren't more glowing. The first night we checked this place out it was just for beverages as we'd already had dinner. They have an excellent draft list (maybe 16 handles) and their cocktail list is also pretty extensive. There's a good selection of whiskeys as well. All in all, a decent bar. The second night we went for dinner and drinks before a concert. The bartender from the previous night immediately recognized us, and that always goes a long way. We ordered a couple of burgers, the vodka and the jalapeño/egg. We subbed onion rings with both, and that was a smart call as they were really tasty. The burgers were also nice, a little overdone for my liking, but they were still juicy and it was certainly nothing that damaged the overall experience. In my opinion, this place has a lot going for it: great service, good food, excellent spirits, and an inviting atmosphere. Will definitely return if I'm ever in the neighborhood.

Have been back a couple times since initial review. One was the last week of May and same situation. Good food bad service. Actually the food runners were way more helpful than the server. Went again last night and surprisingly had the best service I've ever had. I told her that and got her name which is Susanna. She was constantly at the table, ( it was kind of a slow night, but that never stopped the mediocre service before) she had our drinks out right away and food was just as ordered and out promptly. If I go back soon I'm asking for her. Good job girl.

What an amazing addition to Indian Wells. From the inviting atmosphere, friendly and fast service to the great food. They have a variety of American Beers to choose from. The server and bartender were very knowledgable of each ale and their reccomendation a perfect match. I highly recommend this restaurant and feel they truly deserve an Indian Wells Five Star rating. Cheers to my new fav of the desert!

We stumbled on Eureka on our way out of the desert. My wife pulled up our Yelp app and we decided to go here based on another review's mention of a fig marmalade burger. The staff is extremely friendly, although driving up we noticed one of the cooks outside smoking. Kind of skeevy as you go into a restaurant. Eureka has an outstanding array of whiskey and bourbon for anyone interested. I greatly enjoyed a single barrel bourbon on the one gigantic rock, based on recommendation as the bartender's favorite. My wife ordered the fig marmalade burger "naked" along with their cinnamon/honey-glazed sweet potato fries. She loved everything. Unfortunately, our waitress accidentally dropped a wine glass that shattered on the table, so my wife's food had to be remade before she had taken a bite. The poor waitress felt awful about it, but it was a total accident and we were not the least bit upset about it. I ordered the cowboy burger, a traditional burger with BBQ sauce, bacon, etc. It was also outstanding; the BBQ sauce really stood out to me. I ordered the regular fries and they were just so-so. We finished the meal with the butterscotch pudding dessert, and this is the best butterscotch pudding that I have ever had. They add a bit of sea salt to give that great sweet/salty combination that is so tasty. My wife does not like the taste of butterscotch, but even she agreed that the dessert was amazing.

The Marrow burger is the bomb! Can't remember having a more rich and flavorful burger. The butter truffle sauce for burger and/or fries was an added treat. Split a butterscotch salted carmel pudding 4 ways for dessert, which was ridiculously good!

Been coming to Eureka since they opened and I love this place the food is always consistent!! I love sitting at the bar and enjoying great service! Gina the GM is so great, she is always here when I come and recommends great food and whiskey! I am a local and come at least 1 time week!

One of the best burgers I've had in the valley. I was attracted by the Bison Burger since I had not tried bison before & wanted to try something different. It was amazing. The burger had like a sweet taste to it, very filling. Not to mention the fries were awesome. It was my bday when I visited & I was treated to a free ice cream dessert which was also very good. I definitely recommend this place!

Wow. Food was great but the SERVICE WAS AMAZING. First off, they brought a plate of watermelon and avocado for my toddler which anyone who has kids knows was soo nice and helpful. The staff was super nice talking to my husband and his brother about beers and bringing tastes of his recommendations. I felt very welcome and appreciated. We will def be back our next trip to Palm springs and may even have to check out the San Diego location.

This restaurant is perfectly situated when out for a lovely bike ride under the palms in Indian Wells. In my book enCYCLEpedia Southern California - The Best Easy Scenic Bike Rides (2014), I pair each ride with a recommended meal en route, and for the Indian Wells ride (IW1) I suggest the Fresno Fig Burger on the patio here. Today it was sunny, 80's F, and our lunch stop here did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and efficient, typical of a well-managed restaurant, which enhanced the experience. We really appreciated how they kept refilling our ice water after our thirsty ride here. Sitting under the fans on the outdoor covered patio was perfect, not too hot or cold. I just love the combination of flavors in the Fig Burger, the fig marmalade, melted goat cheese, bacon, spicy mustard, etc. It really hits the spot; probably one of my all time favorite burgers. The cinnamon honey yam fries were good, but after all the flavors in the burger, the plain fries that my friend had were a better choice. They have plenty of healthier items on the menu as well, but sometimes you just feel like a burger, and their burgers are some of the best, if not the best, in the valley. They did make one mistake on the order (my friend's "Naked" burger came with a bun) but that was remedied in a matter of minutes. I'm glad I stuck with the carbs of the bun because that's where the fig marmalade resides, and my bun-less friend had to just shmear and dip into it instead, not quite the same burger eating experience.

Stopped by here for a late lunch on a sunday afternoon and the place was pretty full. They have a nice bar area with good beer on tap and plenty of TVs to watch the game. I got the fish tacos and a side salad and also tried the Osso Bucco Riblets. Everything was wonderful, the fish tasted fresh and the mango chutney salsa was wonderfully balanced by some jalapeño. I wish I had ordered twice the amount of the riblets because they were sooo good! Spicy and the meat was tender and crispy. Service was great and the atmosphere is chill. Def recommend going here for drinks, lunch or dinner.

Eureka was recommended by a friend while I was in town for the weekend. I ordered the fig and goat cheese burger with regular fries. I was hoping for good combination of sweet and savory but I really couldn't taste the sweetness from the fig even though it was on both sides of the bun. The best part of the burger was the meat patty that tasted homemade and not frozen.

I love the food here. The burgers and fries are amazing. The burger always comes out RARE exactly how I love it. The reason that I'm giving it two stars though is because the service is always horrible. I've been there quite a few times simply because I love the food so much but every time without fail and no matter who the server is, the service is slow and lacking. It takes them forever to acknowledge you, forever to get your drinks & the food takes an eternity. I definitely never go here while I'm starving. I wish that they would do something to correct their service because everything else is spot on. They have unique beers and the whole menu is absolutely delicious but unfortunately, every visit is ruined by the horrible service. I hope they correct this soon!!

Eureka! Is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Indian Hills. This is the second time I have been here and it just keeps getting better. I had the Fresno Fig Burger and my boyfriend had the Cowboy Burger. Both are super delicious! The fig burger is the perfect combination of sweet and savory! To top off the experience the manager gave us a free desert! It was a soufflé with vanilla ice cream and it was to die for. I can't wait to go back here next time we come back for our quick get away! Oh! And Sarah was our waitress and she was so sweet and very attentive. Thank you for such a great experience.

Came through town on business and was expecting to settle for a typical, albeit charmingly rustic, diner. Instead, I found this gem and veritable temple to great food and drink. Beer selection was top notch, but I was even more impressed with the whiskey varieties. Lots of high-end bourbons and very knowledgeable bartenders to help with the decision making. Service and food were also outstanding. The Fresno burger is unreal!

Had the cowboy burger with a house salad. My wife had the watermelon salad and we finished off with the chocolate souffle which paired nicely with the Yeti Imperial stout. The burger was honestly one of the best I've ever had. It was really hot when served and flavorful. The house salad was not your run of the mill side salad. Beer selection is outstanding and varied for this little place. Owner Kyle is very friendly and works as hard tending bar as any other employee. Also, some of the cleanest bathrooms ever.

Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night and was surprised that it was very busy. The bar, dining room and even the outside patio were full. That being said we were seated right away. Our waitress was at our table right away and very attentive the whole time always smiling and sweet. I had the Buffalo Trace Bourbon - yum! While my friend had a whiskey sour (just as delicious). The pulled pork sandwich was so tasty and the sweet potato fries with honey and cinnamon drizzled on top? Absolutely incredible! Everything was served fresh and hot. I'll definitely be going back!

Man this place has really upped their game. Used to have regular problems with service but last several times we have gone, service has been top notch. Nejar (hope im spelling that right) has been the biggest improvement in this place .. He is a creative guy that is always comin up with unbelievable new cocktails off the menu. And he completely understands customer service. We came by tonight as my fam does on most monday nights and we had an awesome waitress (Sarah), very attentive and helpful. Its nice to see this place listen to the feedback of the customers and make the needed change.. See u next mon!!

Excellent!! I was seated instantly, and my server gave plenty of drinking/food suggestions since i was uncertain on what to order until i finally decided on a Maui Wowie Burger, food was cooked perfectly how I had asked, and it was cheaper then what I had imagined on paying. I will surely be returning when I'm back on another business trip in a month.

Went here tonight with my wife . We both love the drink selection. She likes wine and I like beer so it worked out good for both of us. They had a really good bison burger and the wife really loved the chicken. The waiter Cam was really good. He had a really good knowledge of beer and was super friendly. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Palm Desert.

We must have gone on an off night. It was a monday night and they seemed to be understaffed and over crowded. Kids and husband ordered burgers and fries. My husband's burger was over cooked, but edible. The fries however were cold. I ordered the Short Ribs and Cheesy grits and honestly it was horrible. The added flavors in the short ribs sauce just didn't mesh. Our waiter was nice but we didn't get refills on our drinks and had to wait forever to get our checks. Also, instead of turning on the heaters, they turned on the misters that were actually dropping large drops of water onto us while freezing outside. All in all I would not recommend this place.

The food was good , service could have been faster, but my main complaint was what full service bar in a restaurant DOSEN'T SERVE SCOTCH? It not that they were out. They don't have it! In Indian Wells no less where the average age is 70+. Other than that it was good.

Great setup, outside water misters, amazing Fig burger, delicious apps and a very reasonable price (2 drinks, 2 apps, 1 burger and out for about $50 including tax/tip). The staff was great too and overheard it was my gf's bday - brought her ice cream without my prompting. What more do you want? We'll definitely be back.
